Oh! crazy shit! the military have sean to much on "Top Gun"!

In norway must the navy fly the Helicopter just some meter over the water and that is dificult. because you can't se how high you fly over the water! And think about the norwegian air forces arund in low flight in Norwegian mountains.

yea altimeters but altimeters are not very accurate, heat and pressure variations cause incorrect readings which would be dangerous at that low of an altitude. Althought they may have radar altimeters which are very accurate when you are low

Nice flying, looks like a lot of fun. I'm guessing this is actually part of training and not just messing about as helicopters are easy targets in a war zone and need to fly low to avoid detection (eg: inserting special forces troops into Iraq in 91)
