This is so sad. Though buddhist not allowed kill your self but they are forced to self immolation but they didn't kill anyone like in other part of world, only die themself causing no harm to anyone which is buddhist way of life as "Non Harming nature to others" even to your enemy. US is only interested in profits, not the freedom of people. You are getting hung up over the word refugee, it is true they had to flee Chinese tyrany in their homeland, but to seek refugee status is another thing. Just know that alot of Tibetans come to the US and Europe to live a free and prosperous life. They are role model immigrants.
