@dellmax99 if the game you have was downloaded from the internet it is most likely to be a cider port, im not sure if there is a mac version of COD MW2, the one ive seen is a cider port, and the only way to play it is if you turn off your internet conection before you start the game so you wont get the error. if you actually own the game in a cd then i dont know if there is a patch for mac, since i believe there are some for the windows version.

I got cod4 on my macbook 2.13ghz nvidia 9400m and it works great on medium to high settings. NO BOOTCAMP. its sweet on macbooks! buy it

yes it does, my best settings now r texture res extra, normal map res extra, specular extra, shadows no, 1024x640 standard 4:3, anti alising off, sycn frame no, spec map no, depth no, glow no, lights dynamic off, smoke no, ragdoll no, model detail low, water low, corpses insane

i find these settings run great and also look really good graphic wise. for this vid the settings were not tweaked so well.

i never used crossover so i cant help there sorry, for heavy games like this one on windows i use vm ware fusion and for heavier ones like left 4 dead i use bootcamp with windows xp

its runing on a aluminum late 08 model macbook 2GB RAM, 2.0GHZ processor, Nvidia GeForce 9400M VRAM 256. the settings i had on it at the moment of the video made it lag abit but the new settings i have now the game runs alot better, maybe il post a 3rd video so pelople can compare it to the first 2

compared to the consels (PS3/X360) the graphics on this are nothing. Is it just because its on the lowest setting?

in this vid hte quality is low do to the poor screen recorder, and the settings are not set to run too well, i posted another video where it looks better but model detail is set to low in this video, i found better settings so it wont lag and have extra on detail but igues ill have to post another vid showing this lol. but i think on the consoles it looks better since they are made for gaming.

I have a macbook with a weaker graphics chipset (GMA 950 - however you can use gmabooster for 25% extra) with 4gb ram. will the extra 2gb ram compensate for sameish performance as yours?

did you read the description? i used a crappy screen recorder so thats why it has bad quality. dont know if you noticed but i wasnt in fullscreen u can see the mac menubar n top because the screen recorder could not record on fullscreen, but now i have a better screen recorder so ill record them on HD so people can see it better. but yes on the video it looks terrible but its not the macbooks fault, its the screenrecorder poor video quality.

thanks, i use imovie for all my videos but in this one i only used screen flow to record my desktop. so far i have foun nothing that records the vid at full resolution, so the vids dont look as great as on my mac, but i guess ill have to keep searching untill i find a good screenrecorder, or use my video camera but all looks dark when i do that. thanks anyway.
