Man this guy's music brings back some really good memories...I think I wore that their tapes and albums out completely. I wanted to be a rock star because of the Knack!

Doug....wish you would have done more interviews back in the day. The damn press lambasted you guys because of that. I think the band's commercial success would have last much longer. To me..it didn't matter....I was and still am a HUGE Knack fan!!

Yeah, the damn press back in the day were assholes. Y'know, if the Knack stormed the charts today and refused to do interviews or behaved badly, they would become 10X as popular due to that alone. Back then, it was the kiss of death. And the music scene after the Knack became pure shit as a result. They should have been the band of the eighties. Maybe then it wouldn't have become as shitty as it did with all that hair metal, overprocessed synth pop and Rap.

I think a generation of their music was lost because the damn press black listed them. Just think...we could had another solid 6 - 8 years of Knack on the radio....instead of Rat, Poison, or ((((WINGER))))))!!!!
