I never liked Tony, nor Sonata Arctica which in my opinion is a very overrated band, but this song is something else, thank god Simone is there. However, a Roy Khan - Simone duet is godlike and nobody can deny this.

This is a very moving song. It's lovely to have Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica singing as well. I saw SA live in December (2009) for their Days Of Grays tour. It was amazing! My first gig and a brilliant first impression. (They did funny stuff on the stage, as well - 'misbehaving').

It's a beautiful mysterious song, and a duet between Simone and Tony Kakko is awesome ofc! However, the synths under Simone's verses sounds a bit too Enya to me. (1:51 / 3:15)) And that always makes me smile so that I can't take it too seriously and appreciate the sphere as much as it deserves. But that's probably just me.

Which obviously doesn't have anything to do with the same key its written, the same height and about the same type of riff.

It's in my opinion quite logical. Though I don't care if it sounds the same. The song is unique and if you're gonna be bothered about one riff in a song you might just as well demand a new key or rhythm per song written.
