I dont think its a fair comparison comparing cars from different eras of car technology. Ofcourse the BMW would beat the f50 (even though i think from stop start it would be highly unlikely) but thats because of all the traction control and superclose gear changes the BMW has which the ferrari simply doesnt have. Plus nowadays smaller engines are much more efficient and put out more power than these cars did in their day

Actually my M5's trap speed is 124.4mph. But that was a great day. Took on a Lexus ISF 3 minuites before this video! F50 is the most beautiful car I have seen ever on the road. What a pleasure to see and hear.

Evan you might be surprised how well the M5 would most likely keep up. Look at the specs 0-60 and 1/4 mile on the F50.. By far the most beautiful car ever built hands down..

awesome races, however, from a roll, the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are pretty much irrelevant. if you want a basis of power look at the trap, the f50 is trapping about 125 mph which is almost 10 mph faster than the m5 a.k.a. a significant difference is power. despite the mods on the m5 i dont think the f50 would have to try to hard to get away. i do love m5's however and i am in now way bashing on them! you have a very nice car and i enjoyed your video very much! i am just in love with f50's haha
