@crimsont1de - The tyres were squealing on most medium speed corners before and after the crash. I had gone in a little too hot and was definately on the edge of traction, but lifting off the throttle suddenly with the suprise of a car heading towards me unsettled the car from a slight four wheel drift into full blown oversteer which I was unable to correct back from.

@zVlPERz - it unbalances the car by transferring weight to the front and can cause the back wheels to lose traction. It's called lift-off oversteer and is quite common on a number of cars.

@marc6105 - Probably about 60-70 MPH going into the bend. No idea how much speed I scrubbed off before the impact. The car's still AWD, just that it oversteers on lift off in the wet!
@marc6105 - I drove about a mile with a marshall escort to leave the track at Adenau bridge. The PitroadM titanium exhaust system was folded under the car, rear light smashed and the bumper has a big dent in it. Under the bonnet I have a forged engine, 13T turbos, AEM EMS, close ratio transmission and a few other supporting upgrades. Car also has a rollcage, carbon seats and 6 point harnesses.
@homerlawtey Whew, that sounds like a lot of nice go-power. I had an RT twin turbo '95 AWD Stealth once. That was a nice car, but I hated the oversteer on tarmac.
