Great idea to do the stop-motion for transformers. Some of the transforming looked real enough like in the cartoon. Looks like you put some time and effort into making this video. MORE IDEAS: (1) Make the background and scenery more interesting. Add some props or a kids room with lots of stuff and get them to do construction work. (2) Music with the classic transforming sound would add a lot. (3) Zoom in then out while panning from left to right like in live concerts. Thanks for the vid.
@MFTube80 Thanks for the feedback! I have been meaning to do something a bit more substantial for quite a while. I'd love to do all those things you mentioned. Perhaps I will when I have a bit more time. This video is only 51 secs long and it took me the best part of a day just to do this, using a crappy Windows program too. Lots of folk have been asking me so I think I'll make an effort to do something else at some point this year. I still can't believe how many views this has. Thanks again!

It was something I just put together to see if I could do it, then ended up adding bits to it - I then ended up staying up all night editing and putting together, then was tired so went to bed. Uploaded it while I was sleeping, but you're right. I should have been more patient, filmed the combining sequence, then added on before uploading it. Wish I had now. Sooooooo many views!!!
@dshacker662 Nope, no-one in the UK had these back in the 80's because they weren't released here. God only knows why.....they'd have sold like hotcakes! And yes, they are mint G1 Constructo's, I don't like the 'new' ones.

Believe me I've tried! I've looked EVERYWHERE I can think of for those, and I don't want to pull them from the audio of an episode cos you still get the background stuff with it and it sounds shit. I'd like different sounding ones too so they don't all sound the same. If anyone can help, I'd be most grateful. There must be an archive somewhere from when they made the episodes. Any ideas?
this is really kewl, especially the begining part, anyways just some cc during the video when you were panning across the team) you should of just muted the volume of that recording so you wouldnt hear that thump sound in the recording. Then you could also add some music ^_^!

Thanks! As I said, I underestimated the effort involved. The cam is a little shaky cos it was just sat on the table, but now I have a tripod, so future "productions" will look better. And yes, there's a lot of frames. 16 per second, just like in most real animation, which is what I wanted. I just didn't get the editing quite right. The first scene with the digger, crane, and truck was double the correct speed for example.
Because...if you read the title...this was just an experiment and my first time attempting something like this. It took me a whole day to shoot the pics, load, edit, change timings etc. I underestimated the effort involved and I will do another with Devastator added when I'm a bit more experienced.
