  • ASK THE VICTIM FOR CONSENT!? Yeah good going, poor chap is going into delirium or shock because of whatever horrid injury and YOU NEED TO ASK FOR CONSENT? BTW, how would you treat a White Phosphorous Burn? Put it out with water ? :D

  • 0:25 story of my life that almost hapend

  • Water?

  • just watch the movie fight club and there...how to treat a chemical burn

  • @SamuelCrafting lol no, you use a buffer.

  • I think you might want to go back to school if you ever went,What if they have a sodium burn? Are you going to have people blow they're arms off by applying water? I think you should rethink your ideas here,You could get people hurt worse than they are.Better yet leave this to the professionals and not someone who has half knowledge of these things!!!

  • @imaqtlolz that dosent work LMAO it kills the infection but then hurts like poroxide ,

  • @alextothehbro Thats the banks and corporations for ya! They are Babylon in the bible.

  • i bet her name isnt REALLY sunshine!

  • Snellville LOL!

  • "you could rinse it with water and increase the burning sensation or you could use vinegar to neutralize the reaction"

    -tyler durden

  • @imaqtlolz fight club?

  • @imaqtlolz Look in a MSDS to see proper neutralization. Vinegar (Acetic Acid) will only cause harm. If you was to get a burn from a solution of Sodium Hydroxide or from a solution of Sodium Bicarbonate, it will just cause a chemical reaction on the wounded site. I see the quotations marks. Maybe you know this. I don't know.

  • @ssj7warrior

has nobody ever seen fight club?

  • @imaqtlolz I've seen Fight Club, I just can't remember that line.

  • @ssj7warrior I understand the Hydroxide truly I do,but are really suggesting a Baking soda burn(Sodium Bicarbonate) ?Just asking

  • @imaqtlolz i would know

  • @imaqtlolz Or you can stop using movie quotes as medical instructions... Sometimes vinegar can increase the severity of a chemical burn.

  • @drsta804 fight club would never lie to me

  • I'm a paramedic.

IMO you shouldn't leave definition of an unsafe scene up to common sense, since it's not common and hardly anyone possesses it. Especially in an emergency.

I'd tell them exactly what constitutes an unsafe scene-in a general way of course. I'd also demonstrate one urgent care move, in case the patient's in an unsafe area and needs to be quickly relocated. I'd also explain how to reduce panic levels while treating the patient.

  • The way you keep saying "your victim" makes this whole video seem pretty creepy. I'm sure as hell not giving someone a chemical burn.

  • Your parents never gave you a chance did they?
