you should add an intersection pipe where you can moddefy it like you can set it to: 30% of the blocks/liquid goes to the left, 20% goes to the front and 50% goes to the right, itll come in handy if you have to split a pipe to 2 or more destinations where one destination needs more blocks/liquid then the other one. just a suggestion

I know this is a bit of an old video. Buildcraft 2.2.8 (and I downgraded to 2.2.7) I am having an issue with water in pipes. I have 3 combustion engines nose to tail, gold water proof pipe running between them, and one of Zeldo's water proof teleporters to bring in water to cool them. As I watch the water in the manifold will fill up, then empty, then fill up, then empty, etc. I have 3 pumps powered by 3 combustion engines each, pumping in water, so I don't know why it can't stay full.

A VERY expensive way to create energy, considering you have to have access to a particle accelerator for hundreds of years, and somewhere to store the anti-matter, but it is possible in theory. But that's more theoretical physics then normal high school/collage physics.

2 problems... :(

1.when i put combustion engine it looks up, but when i put another one next to it it looks to the first one...

2.it doesn't make enough power, only to fill the first one wooden power pipe.... it doesn't even move to the other one pipe! (and iam using stone power pipe for second one, not wood)

@puke1523 Problem one you can fix with a wrench. Place what you want it to power next to it, then right click it with the wrench until it faces the device to be powered.

When making fuel sometimes the fuel goes into the slot that the oil goes into and I have to destroy the refinery. Is there a fix to this?

@adcairns94 I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that power divides itself equally at a pipe intersection, so yes, provided you have enough energy to power both then yes. If not, then you could always wire them together with an inverter and switch, so that only one can operate at a time :) :)

The Redstone Engines only need redstone power to work.

The Steam engines need coal AND redstone power to work.

The Combustion Engines need oil AND redstone power to work

When I use them and forget to drain the fuel from them, the fuel builds up in one of the tanks that the oil fills, how can I extract the fuel from there? An engine an pipe doesn't seem to work. :(

@pentherapy it works by the chunks not being active, it glitches and shows my pumps being active and pumping oil, but not actually pumping, so it is in turn giving me infinate oil (getting the pipeing set up was a b**** though lol)

There have to be pipe 'switches' so that when an item passes through the switch pipe, a redstone pulse goes out of the pipe.

okay finally i solved it my tmi was the old version so i updated it and how to know what's wrong is in the Run area (where u type %appdata%) u instead type cmd and then a screen will pop up and paste this in :(java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%­\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft­) and it will check it any errors will be shown

hey, i'v been trying to create a wall full of engine. i got one pipe for fuel and one for water and a pipe to my qurrys, i have like 10 engine and 4 water pumps link to one main pipe the lead too the engines, but it always blow up after a 10 min time. i notic that the middle engines is going out of water WHY??? HOW MANY PUMPS DO I NEED?

if you got to ask, i'v sorte the pipe so no mistake of water and fuel etc is work.
