  • I saw Willy in the mid 70's. Was listening to KLX OR KSAN - one of those LA radios stations. Soul Twist had been charting for a few weeks. The DJ announced that Mink de Ville was playing a free gig at Griffith Park that afternoon. So me and the old lady grabbed a few doobies and saw just a fantastic show. Willies's great live but if you can get the actual albums you'll find that the production makes his material some of the best tunes out there.
