whats the diference between dotd zombies and 28dl zombies ?

@Jackcave1 If I remember correctly, DotD zombies were more real and slowlike, whereas 28DL zombies were super fast and jumpy and unrealistic, a more "action zombie" for current times.

Either you havent done your research or they didnt give you enough info... You put your earbuds in and go on missions, while youre running you hear zombies moaning and chasing you, get radio calls from your headquarters, and pick up ammo and medicine for your people. Once youre home and done running you choose how to use the things you collected. The developers really took it up a HUGE notch... Id redo this review, this is literally a different game now.

I think this game would only be interesting if you had guns or something. otherwise running from 'zombies' seems a little.. stupid.

This is already under work, they are working on integrated Augmented Reality for when the zombies get close to you. Also they have integrated a multiplayer function so you can team up with other people that use the app as well :)

Sounds great! But would've been awesome if they simply made it so when you point the camera at where the horde is you see a massive line of zombies gradually getting closer... Shouldn't have been hard taking into account how hard it would've been to make the REST of the app.

Well you lack imagination saying it's bad because they don't look like zombies. The whole point of it is to use your imagination.

THIS IS AWESOME! It would have been a pretty neat idea to throw out the zombie part and make this sort of a game to play at night with invisible monsters that you can only detect with your digital tracking device. It's a great concept!

Maybe some interesting methods of feedback too like a tracking radar thingy.

It's MULTIPLAYER NOW! I wonder if it'd be fun to play on highest density, uncontained (but still slow moving for realism) and try and get from here (San Diego) to rescue my friend at UCLA, with the phone in a dashboard mount in my truck!

This is a pretty fun app. Tried it a couple weeks ago to change up my jogging routine, and it really had me running. Apparently there's a multiplayer function now; I will try that soon.

I actually really enjoyed playing this, it made my daily walk a lot more interesting and had me walking a lot faster, it's great for a workout and yes the zombies do follow you lol

The cool thing that for the Iphone is that Safari has multitasking. You can keep playing the game forever really. Thanks to the fortify ability, you can barricade yourself at your work or wherever you'll be staying for some time. You can mind your business while in the game, you are enjoying the safety of your barricade.

Just point the destination somewhere where you wont go, and just try to survive for as long as possible. Also theres multiplayer.

The Zombie Run app for the Iphone is almost the same, but the zombies just move at you and then they dissapear before coming at you again.

The original Zombies, Run! game has been released for the browser now though, so you can now play it on any smartphone with GPS just by using your browser.

In this browser version, you can fortify yourself, which is a radius barricade that will hold untill you move out of the barricade.

just got it on My Touch. It's completely different now. well not completely but no more red dots. zombies are now indicated by green and red zombies on your screen. love it. gunna do it now on my way to work

This app has become much better since the update. The dots are now zombie avatars and the different "speeds" are now different classes of zombies i.e. Night of the living dead, dawn of the dead, 28 days later. I highly recommend!
