Great stuff, I see atleast 3 of the original group, the drummer appears to be the original drummer, new lead player doing the main note riffs in the song....who is he????? Anyway well done for live and at this age in the game.
The only peaceful moments that I used to have with my father were listening to songs like this one, haha, he love America(also I do), I will download some of this clips and send it to Cuba, its hard to find music(like this one) there..
1 dislike?? dang! there shouldn't be any dislike button.. I mean, why would you watch this video in the first place if you don't like it? thumbs up to you rufus53557 for uploading this :D
On Dec. 27, 2005, my cousin lost her battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. At her funeral, they played this during a picture montage of her life. Pam, where do I start? You were everything that a family member and friend could ask for. I know that you had your ups and downs during your life and this was one of them. But you grabbed it by the horns and fought to the end. You showed more courage than we did. We love you and miss you. We will NEVER forget you.
My Grandpa died of A.L.S. as well on June 30th 2001. It's the most saddening thing to watch someone's body deteriorate in such a way, but at least both of their souls will be remembered fondly. I'm sorry for your loss.
Interesting. How old was your grandfather? Pam was only 49 when she died. Sadly, my father died of a massive heart attack at that same age. I was only 12 at the time. Also, they played Photographs & Memories by Jim Croce, too.
My grandfather was 69 years old when he died but I was lucky at least to have known him for 8 years of my life. I can't ever imagine losing a father, although it will happen some day for all of us unfortunately.
However, your family does have a good choice of music, I must say.
@DonaldHope Thank you for your reply. I think about Pam everyday. There is post of her on YouTube. Just type in Pam Rucker. A hospice nurse sings a spiritual to her entitled I Wanna Go. It is very uplifting. Again, thanks for your reply.
@mnpgh Thanks. As I have on another post, you can see her. Just type in her name (Pam Rucker) and there is a Hospice nurse singing a spiritual to her (I Wanna Go). Sadly, her daughter has taken the comments wall down. I don't blame her because too many nuts started posting junk on there, and I don't appreciate them besmirching her memory.

I think this is their best song. And am I right when I say "Ventura Highway" is a real road somewhere in California?
