Louis Prima wrote this song in 1935, but it took Benny Goodman and a band with far more discipline to play this song right. Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa on the drums who each gave it the enormous energy with which we remember the song today.

You could this say this song and its arrangement truly evolved.

As bad as this arrangement unforunately sounds, you have to give credit to Prima for writing it, otherwise Goodman (the masterful composer) and company would not have been able to play it. ☺
