Laughing was the best part of this whole thing parenting wise. And it worked because now she loves green beans. She obviously didn't like the taste, so why does she like it now? Because her mummy was laughing, and she associates that food with happy times now! So what exactly don't you get? It's called good parenting
My son did this with peaches....and he still wont eat peaches.... All babies puke, some more than others....also, my son didn't care for veggies either but we fed them to him because this is a critical time when you develop their tastes and guess what he eats salads with every meal any veggie can be put in and he will eat it....and he has done this since he could eat at first he didn't like it, now he asks for it, and LOVES it. Healthy as a horse :D
My parents didn't force me to eat anything I didn't like because they were lazy parents. So I grew up not eating any fruit or vegetables.
I had to make myself learn to like fruit and vegetables. I only started eating vegetables at age 25!!! I now like sweetcorn, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots and peppers. I'm working on fruit lol I only like bananas up to now. Everytime I try something new it taste like crap. I have to eat it more than 20 times before I can start to like it!

I have three kids, and when they were babies, they all gagged and puked when trying certain solid foods that they weren't keen on!
