  • u say tons 2 many bro

  • DO NOT TOSS THE DISK, I REPEAT DO NOT TOSS THE DISK. I own this motherboard and you need that disk if you ever want to reformat again because it contains the network drivers. If you try to reformat without using that disk for the network drivers you won't be getting very far.

  • @GosuVu That is True I own this motherboard as will juts hope some people don't toss the disk in the bin

  • I already have a Sapphire 6770 hd...do I have to get an exact copy to run Xfire? Im getting this MB within the week. with the i7 960.

  • Cool glasses, brah.

  • I bought this motherboard last year and just got a gtx580 sc edition. I can't get the card to fit because the SATA connectors block it from going all the way in. Any suggestions on what to do would be appreciated. :(

  • @tnavi23 , get a pci-e extenders

  • cool sunglasses

  • I just happen to have one here LOL

  • oh yeah, i have a great case for it. i will show off to my grandma when she comes over.

  • PCI express Sluts x)

  • So... can i have 2 graphic cards?

  • why you wear sunglasses indoors?

  • can u have a 130w processor on it like the i7 960?

  • @razorewire1445 go to the website and check the cpu suppourt list

  • he knows all that .. just because his mom works at the factory...

  • is PCI the same thing as video card slots

  • how could I miss that Crow poster in the background? The Crow ftw.

  • Everytime I glance to the left I see your giant arms and keep thinking your about to crush the board

  • From what I understand, sitting that close to a monitor that big requires that you wear sunglasses.

  • Yes big ass monitor ftw

  • @bobbydee30g

Its a Tv and will be very very poor quality in comparison to a monitor, bad for gaming, lots of ghosting and a high response time, far from ideal monitor.

  • @superj1977 I don't know what you you mean man. I have an olevia 37" (hardly high end) as my monitor via vga I gotta say I don't notice very much if any sacrifice in my gaming quality from when i was using a monitor. As far as ghosting that's a trait shared by dlp (i'd know I still have my 57") and much older lcds. on mine I have never seen the infamous and annoying ghost image. I've been using mine for almost three years and can honestly say I'm very satisfied.

  • @bobbydee30g

Dont get me wrong im not saying you cant use a tv on your pc,its just far from good quality in comparison to a deccent monitor.

VGA is not really the best for 1080p,DVI is better for high resolution, again im not saying you cant use it,just not ideal.

Theres good reason why people pay lots of money for monitors and dont just use cheap hd televisions,if your just an ocassional pc user then its probs not an issue, but a pc enthusiast wouldnt reccomend it.

  • The three way connector that goes on top of the video card will not go on the ati-5770

Where can I get the correct bridge to connect two ati-5770 cards.

Does the ati card really draw 40 amps?

Would you know where I could get info in setting up the bios for fast but stable operation. I have the mobo listed here, the ati5770, 12 gigs ram. If I leave the computer alone for a while, it freezes up.

    Thanks

  • @thegazebo69 i had one in the box with my gfx card, which is the 5770

  • does this mobo have a good soundcard or do i need to get a new one for better gaming experience? btw this or asus sabertooth x58

  • can i have gtx 470 sli on this motherboard??

  • Matrix...

  • I thought that was a 3-way sli bridge and a 2-way flexible sli-bridge?

  • hd 5750 crossfire or gtx 465 ??

  • Google it!

    damn u r stupid :P

  • @gtaboyrocks the 5750 sucks ass and the 465 is a 470 with a tweaked bios. gtx 465 - flash it to 470 bios BOOM gtx 470 :D

  • wth? my ati radeon 5830 occipies THREE pci-E slots...so much for 2-way sli...and im not gonna use the 4th slot which only has 8x and is too close to the bottom mounted power supply...this is bs

  • WTH????? i bought this mobo yesterday and noticed there was no crossfire bridge inside! Now i watch this review and what does he unpack? A crossfire bridge. Help! wtf?!

  • @PinkasBrown44 Tbh it doesn't really matter since ati cards comes with crossfire bridges

  • @diablolrm90

Really? Cause I purchased a radeon 5830 and it DID NOT have a crossfire cable...

    thanks for the input anyway

  • Why do all new MOBOs still sport those ugly PS2 connectors? Nobody uses those anymore. Thanks for comments.

  • @orestesdd well if you connect a keyboard on a PS/2 connection it will work faster and registrate more at once.

  • @rickl3n Do anyone sell those PS2 keyboards?

  • Am I able to use a phys-x card for this? I have a 5830 in it (got it for 180 or I wouldn't have ever purchased it) I want to see what performance enhancement I can get for crysis and possibly metro 2033

  • i love this board, the northbridge runs hot though, get a spot fan

  • awesomee...but to expensive

  • do you need to buy a sound card when you buy this?

  • That big LCD in the back is only 23" and the reviewer is midget-sized.

  • goddamn that azn nigga is off the hook. like at those motherfucking glasses.

  • ASUS ASUS ASUS ASUS ASUS...GIGIBYTE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i didnt get a crossfire bridge whit my board! just two sli bridges, one two way and one three way

  • BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Fix your cowlick and lose the glasses, you look like a retard.

  • His future"s so bright he's gotta were shades.LOL

  • Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R versus Asus P6X58D-E (same price here).

Which of the two is better and more reliable. I know the most obivous differences are that the Asus mobo does not have eSATA and one less PCI-E v2.0, but aside from this, which would you recommend ?

  • @MG5319 Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R; **** Asus!

  • @mathias921 lol? I bought the Asus btw :P hahaha

  • @MG5319 Think you're funny!? xD

  • @mathias921 well the asus mobo was a bit cheaper and I dont really need 4 PCI-e dual bios and e-Sata also for LAN Marvell is better than Realtek so yea ;)

  • @MG5319 lol

  • What is the difference between GA-X58A-UD3R and GA-X58A-UD5 ? Thanks.

  • @sysel777 the ones with the a in it support usb 3.0

  • now computer tech, is really good- for the blind as well

  • if u dont have a family then?

  • how many usb ports???

  • How does this motherboard compare to the Asus 6X58D... This is considerably cheaper.

  • you review sucked !

more info next review please !!!

  • I'm about to buy myself a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard but I have come up with an issue. I can't get anyone to answer if an XFX Radeon 5870 will fit this motherboard or not?

Will the SATA ports and the some larger thing above the SATA ports block my way if I'm about to mount one XFX Radeon 5870? I believe this motherboard is 24cm and the 5870 is 28cm.

    Thank you

  • Finally someone who knows what he is talking about; thank you very much undercovertechs! :D

  • xdxdxxd bit sunny xd haha

  • It's Cycrops!

  • My specs are: Gigabyte GA-X58 80GB 2.5" SSD Intel X25-M G2 SATAA-UD3R 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ Intel Core i7 930 Corsair 6GB (3x2048MB) 1600MHz XMS3 Noctua NH-D14, 140mm Gigabyte Radeon HD5970 2GB Corsair HX 750W 80+ Samsung 22X DL SH-S223C Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Cooler Master ATCs 840 ATX
  • @KALfilms Hi! I saw your specs and I just wanted to know if you are useing this very motherboard as this review GA-X58A-UD3R or if you could tell me if a XFX Radeon 5870 would fit a GA-X58A-UD3R?

    Thanks in advance

  • @mathias921 It will fit fine, my 5970 fits in here no probs :)

  • @KALfilms Thank you very much; I really hope this is true :P

  • @mathias921 Check my specs, I got the GA-X58A-UD3R and my 5970 works perfect on it.

  • Мало конкретики.. И да видео действительно не совсем в формате все уже давно привыкли к стандартному wideScreen... Так что исправляйся...

  • It's support windows 7?

  • @almogim13 yep
