  • It does tai chi better than me hahahaha so cute....

  • Rest in forever peace, QRIO

  • waterbending robot

  • has anyone seen The Surrogates? the japanese will be the first ones to have stuff like that.

  • its so... perfect...

  • I want to cry now....I cant believe they cancelled such an amazing project. I never even got to see Qrio in person!

  • Sooooo, robots descended from asians and were taught their culture first huh? lol

  • if i ever become rich, i want to see if i could possibly purchase one, i think its a great design and a good platform to engineer it more. im an engineer, well soon to be one, and i think it would be fun to have one of these and do projects with it, for a hobby

  • @JUKIO01 me to man...me to i love this thing its amazing

  • Hey, are you, like me, upset that Sony has cancelled such an amazing robot? Well please show that you care at bringusqrio . webs[dot]com

  • Sony killed them because it's just a pirated version of ASIMO and it can do nothing but just run a pre-programed walking and things and not even running! ASIMO is far more advance than this pirated version!!

  • QRIO is smaller and cuter tho :D

  • But not for professional, it's like a toy not a robot.

  • thats why i love it more :D

  • Well, at least intertainment is one of a robot purpose :)

    Both is cool!

  • But isn't QRIO before ASIMO?

  • No , asimo born first even it's technology began researched at 1986 and perfected at 1993( the year I was borned ) . Till now asimo is still under development towards a more advanced AI technology

  • they didnt sell it because its too expensive

  • the patent nad technology is verrrrryyy expensive and obviously they don't want anyone copy their technology cuz it's still in the development stage like it's top secret( for ASIMO but QRIO i don't know).

  • 200 usd?? not too much

  • yea i heard they sold for like 46k or something like that

  • Sony stop manufacturing them because nobody was buying them because of price.

  • ASIMO was first made in 1993 and was crap all around and was still worse than the QRIO in 2003 when the QRIO was first made!

how can the QRIO be an ASIMO if it is better the ASIMO cant even walk up stairs or throw a ball!

  • umm acutally asimo can walk up and down stair , they fix it already , i think the break throue they got with asimo is now it can take understand conversation 3 pp at the time , instead of 1 on1 like before . but QRIO still the best . dont know why SONY discontinue it thou. unless they move that project to their military contract division ....

  • the asimo can walk up stairs, but i dont know if it can throw a ball..

  • That thing looks like it could open up a whole case a whoopass with the the right programming lol

  • who's chacki chan i think you mean jackie chan or not anyways thats a really cool and smooth little robot to bad sony discontinued the project though

  • betta as chacki chan XDDDDDDDD

  • wow

  • man if qrio could think for itself it would have free will. it wouldnt move like it is programmed too. it would move like a human

  • What if they made a human size QRIO?! That would be awesome. Plus you could program it to be a bodyguard or something.

  • So darn talented robots. too bad Sony discontiuned the best humanoid robot called the QRIO.

  • are they still making them

  • I heard they're leaving the project for a few years, but they should pick it up again by 2010.

  • Oh my goodness! Really? So many people don't know this! Yay!

  • The movements are so fluid. It's amazing...

  • The exact same idea I had when seeing this!

  • Wait until you see it person!

  • talk about perfect centre !!

  • Just when you thought you've seen and heard everything...Oh well; I wonder what style of Tai Chi its doing?

  • Too bad that the QRio has been discontinued... At least I believe it has... Let's hope that personal robots like this isn't too far off in the future...

  • I will pay 12000 dollars for him :)

  • ahh.. thats so cute

  • Could the guy shut up though ?
