Stupid me! The movie maker TOTALLY had me fooled. I totally never realized that Yasuo's character was played by a woman... And I have seen this movie twice! I love how this sounds. To me, it is the sound that counts, and the did a good job.

U call tis a "Boys' Choir'? They couldn't even find a boy soprano in the whole Japan so they got an obasan (Auntie) to play the boy soprano's role. It's really weird looking at her acing as a boy. The movie maker thinks the audiences r baka aho, can't tell she is a woman. There r only baritone & bass; no alto & tenor. Comparing them to those boy choirs in the West, who have angelic looks & angelic voices, these guys look like thugs. Go watch Jean-Paul Maurier's Les Choristes (French).
