If we are going to spend are money on anything, it ought to be basic protection. Economic protection, quality of life protection, and security protection. Using Berlin as an example is a hyperbole at best. It's a basic necessity to have a secured border, and we currently don't have one.

Speaking as a NYC resident, NYC has improved vastly over the years. Rudy just gets all the credit for a pretty natural process. I live in Brooklyn now and have lived in the Bronx and I don't see how you can possibly say "no more murders, drug dealers, robbers..." Or that all the streets are safe in every borough. Try walking the streets of Crown Heights, Brownsville, East New York, that feeling of safety goes right out the door. Believe me, Rudy has very little to do with NYC being safer now.

Rudy cleaned up nyc during the mafia and crack era. no other person in history couldve done what he did. he broke up john gotti and all the mobsters. this man has balls and brains. its sad to see what the american brain has come to. he wouldve pushed us in the right direction and wouldve been a a strong leader during these tough times. its sad that now we only have mccain and romney to bit white trash

actually, if you do your research you will find out that it was the mayor before him that implmented the programs that helped reduce crime.. Rudy just jumped on the wave and road it.
