I remember that game when Mo Cheeks came out on the court to help that young girl through the song. I thought it was a Class A move on his part. Bless him. He sensed how upset and nervous she was and he didn't want that young lady to be traumatized by that moment out there all alone, so he went out there stood by her side and helped her. He was always one of my favorite players when he was in the league and is the classiest human being ever.

I have worked in the recording industry both in studio and live sound and just knowing how to sing the anthem is not enough. I'm sure alot of people may sound good singing it in the comfort of their own home but in a stadium, is a different story. Your voice bounces off of everything and unless you train with TONS of reverb and echo, your not going to be prepared for hearing your voice come back at you 10 times within 3 seconds. This is what happens when they are not trained for the situation..
