no matter how much you plan on growing, there will be a little bit of effort involved just in the start up. Doing a little research beforehand can mean lots of saved time and a better final product. But to answer your question, once you have the proper lights and soil and nutrients and a good area to grow, the actual growing process is pretty easy. There are lots of forums that offer comprehensive tips and advice from growers.

Yes, the males produce pollen, which is why they are killed off if they are found as you grow your seeds. If the male is NOT killed off, the male pollen sacks will eventually rupture, and pollinate the female. If that happens, the female will only produce seeds with minimal bud. Usually, it's good to isolate a male, and a female to produce 100's of seeds from 1 single female. That's why they're always referred to as "Girls" or "My ladies" lol

It is not hard to grow plants in the US. It all depends what state you are in. Some states do not allow plants while others permit you to have up to 12. I am legally allowed to have up to 8oz on me in the state of California.
