Anyone can beat anyone with a little bit of knowledge 1v1 and some CD's, but a GOOD pvper that gets my props, are the ones that can stand alone versus more than 1 person.

@raistlin1423 Some mages use IB defensively, som eoffensively, i use it even if my IB is still up to wipe all dots or bleeds off me, then i nova and Shatter right away. Its safest to sit next to the block, and spam mutilate right when its about to go off (assuming your assasination spec), if your combat, then you probably cant win, cause killing spree is your omly bread and butter move

Actually yes scorch spamming is better as a filler for your instant casts, it has a 1.5 second cast time, refreshes the debuff, and crits for 3.5k with decent gear. Fire Mage pvpers are usually not specced for Improved fireball, or geared for haste and if you are. Your prolly not that good. So your cycle is full of fail. Your goal is to kill someone as fast as possible, not with praying a 3.5 second fireball cast time makes a big crit.
