  • Using the Awesome Power of Twitter, I had the chance to ask Yoko Ono a question, and was humbled with a reply. She told me:

The acceptance will come when they need what you have produced or be amused enough by your work in the boredom of their lives. Keep your pride and dignity as the giver, and not a taker. As the giver, we are creating the future of our world.

Creating *is* the point. Bringing together a community of 40+ artists to do it is what matters, even in the face of a house of 12.

  • I think Montreal audiences don't know what to do with a Repertory format. We've all seen crowds turn up for the closing few shows after hearing crickets in the first few weeks when a single show is run.

Looking back on the Suburban Hotel project, I feel that maybe if it had been peddled as a George F-Festival, then maybe houses would have been different. Montreal loves a festival.

  • well, i saw them all and i'm so glad i did.

again, thank you for this awesome undertaking: the ripples it started will swell and waves will form, and all of us involved will remember where they came from.

  • you'll have at least one more person in a seat in march..and i'll bring as many as I can :)

  • Your hair is fabulous :P I'm sorry to hear more people missed out on the opportunity to enjoy your production :(

    Welcome back :)
