We had some local wire thieves where I live, the only problem was the wire was behind asbestos walls. The thieves smashed the walls to get to the wire. They would now have a lung full of asbestos dust, probably will get cancer from all of it. Is 10 bucks of wire worth dying for? Not smart.

I am a Electrician and i work in London.i was called to a Factory that had been shut down for a while.the Owner was trying to switch on the Power and nothing happened

when i got there i started to look for the problem and what did i find.

the Main Service Intake Fuse and all the associated SwitchGear was missing.

in fact it had been stolen.must have sold it for scrap.

this is happening more and more.

Im a HVAC Tech and have been electrocuted a couple of times. Just my fingers bearly touching the capacitor, 440 volts will wake your ass up. I thought my ass was dead when I fealt the juice hit my chest. Electricity is nothin to fuck with even if you know what your doin.

@nickfkd76 I know exactly what u mean, im a son of an electrician, I had a case where I was connecting 2 extension cords and it fell into the snow. I grabbed the one which was plugged in and plugged it into the other, the second I did that, my arms and chest felt like it went haywire. I could not break the current since I cant move my arms. But I got a lucky break when I fell down, the plugs got pulled out. God knows what could happen if it didn't.
