@GodOfWar3rocks Near as I know, Kryll are bat-like creatures that live in the Hollow along with the Locust, but even hunt them down at night. After the Lightmass offensive at the end of Gears 1, the Kryll became extinct, allowing humanity to travel about at night again without fear of the Kryll killing them.

Kryll are those bat like creatures you'll see later on in the game. They swarm at you in groups and can kill you instantly if you walk into an unlit area. Them things killed me alot the first time I found them. Anya looked okay in the first game. Second game she was hotter.
