Is there a mix of this song (this Sydney Youngblood version of the song) with a more bouncy bass part? That's what I remember hearing on the radio years ago and I thought it was the nicest, funkiest groove. This version sounds like a more ambient arrangement w/ the bass mostly taken out.

It's U.S. version. I bought the CD with the same songs but slightly different mixes of some songs like this one on the (now then) Arista Records. The album title is different just as well, it's self-titled released in the fall of 1990.
