  • @BJZnRPZ But then what doesn't?

  • He also did a wicked version of Van Halen's Panama!

  • @mdf072 i know he was awesome on that one

  • @mdf072 However, he's great. ;-) But you're right the original version is much better.

  • @mdf072 Umm, link please?

  • very good version

  • lovely!

  • No idea Beethoven did an arrangement of this. Great item. Thanks for posting.

  • niz

  • good

  • The arrangement itself may be beethoven- but auld lang syne is a traditional scottish ballad

  • @STHanson08 No shit.

  • It is definitely Beethoven unmistakable. Don't forget that Beethoven was Mozart's apparentice for some time. Beethoven has written a lot of chorus works like this which are fairly unknow and often not recognized as Beethoven.

  • beethoven + scottish folk = pure awesomeness

  • Fantastic, thnks for sharing it! Old Ludwig was not only a great composer, but also an excellent writer, if you do not know his "letter to unknown beloved" please red it.

If you can understandgerman lamguage you will enjoy also the style!

  • its not beethoven for sure

    and its mozart style :p

  • = P Beethoven modeled a lot of his first works on mozart stuffz.

    = P

  • Although..hah. upon reading the info, you're probably right its not beethoven = P

  • @STHanson08 it is Beethoven........... lol

  • Ah, this is so interesting! Thank you so much for posting - it was a joy to listen to!

  • no no no no no no no no

  • beautiful wonderful song, here in a variation from ludwig van from his woo 156 no.11, long live ludwig van

  • @beethomozart hes dead

  • Video seems like a personal discovery; thanks for the beautiful music and pictures. Music is a rousing, classically romantic, variation of this old tune: forceful, energizing, even noble. Music emphasizes Mozart's idea that the silence between notes is primary. The clear, strong piano notes do not compete with the voices but provide crisp introductory downbeats and accomanyment. Ask that ensemble/singers, origin of Burns' hansome painting, and captions for words be listed. Thks again
