  • coincidentally, he wore 44 which is Derrick Coleman's number. But they retired 44 in honor of DC. Who has had the better the career between the two?

  • CUSE!!!!!!!

  • i used to his KARL KANI sneakers they were insane, by the way THE 1996 DRAFT WAS THE BEST EVER.

  • BIZUST

  • If was a good player and could still be in the league right Now if he wanted to. He just didn't have the luck alot of the first round picks get to day of playing right away . He was a good guy off the bench . And he still has his NBA money trust me I know him for Many years .

  • wow first one i do not know lol

  • i looked this up because i met this guy the other day. he's working construction these days. may god strike me dead if i'm lying! what a fall from grace!

  • @346221 No he isn't.

  • @346221 ....Well I guess your dead..Because that is a straight lie!!

  • @346221 I guess your dead, because John Wallace construction worker??? Straight Lie!!

  • To be fair he did have a good offensive game.

  • Pitino said yes!

  • JW should have been in top 5, perhaps #1 or #2. Considering that he was the best senior in the country, taking Cuse all the way to the Finals. The NBA should send out a message to underclassmen that staying in school is rewarding and a great thing. It's too bad he got drafted that low, (happy he went to NY Knicks) and didn't really get opportunity to play much minutes during the course of his NBA career.

  • so you'd rather tell nba teams not to draft by talent? so then when all the shitty older college players are taken by the shitty teams, you have the good teams taking the best talented younger players? good luck selling that one...

  • every team wallace went to there was a star player infront of him on the depth chart. Hard to overcome that in back in the mid/ late 90's when the nba was in it's prime.

  • David stern said 19th pick

  • @Milkywaycle He also robbed the Knicks in 1997 playoffs because he understood that they would dethrone the Bulls that year. John Wallace made some descent plays in the playoffs as a rookie.

  • @InfraaVerdaggens They would not beat the Bulls...ole dumbass nigga!

  • @Domini478 Jordan said that himself. Look it up MJ-groupie. And when you find it go suck your own dick.

  • @InfraaVerdaggens Haul ass! No he didn't say that.

  • @Domini478 Yes he did... And you know what? He said the truth.

  • @InfraaVerdaggens No he didn't

  • @Domini478 Are you an Ostrich or something? Yes he said that! And the Knicks got the best of Chicago AND Miami during 1996-97.

  • @InfraaVerdaggens Chicago was NBA Champions in 1997...

  • @Domini478 That's because David Stern helped them. He has killed the passion of the sport, he has killed the sport. He wanted them to win it in 1997 and thus he robbed the Knicks.

  • @InfraaVerdaggens More excuses!

  • @Domini478 In the 1997 regular season the Knicks dominated both Chicago and Miami, the 2 best teams in the East.

  • @InfraaVerdaggens Who won the championship??? The Bulls!!

  • @Domini478 Unfairly though. It's because Stern loves their guts and does everything possible to ensure their championship, even if that means to simply rob a franchise and deny its right for participation in the next playoff round.

  • ''i got hops'' he got game

  • he was great as a knick

  • I agree Thunderbolt210,also he's a good defender as a second string Forward position behind LJ =)

  • Great Body for the 3,Big Time College Player,Had one good season in Toronto, didn't work hard enough in the pro's

  • dlee7283: You were on top of it except for the "didn't work hard enough in the pro's" part. Do you have any evidence for this or it's just he said, she said kind of stuff?

  • tweener

  • loud ovation for a bust

  • he was a local hero in syracuse why wouldnt he get the loud ovation, he looked like a perfect van gundy system player at the time

  • You obviously don't know anything about college basketball or the NBA.

  • you obviously havent looked up this guy's NBA career...no one gives a shit wat u do in college....maybe thats why my comment has thumbs up and urs has thmubs down....

  • @mimbster1972 He sucks!

  • @statusmvp01 lol:)!!!

  • @statusmvp01 You were like 9 back then. STFU. Like anybody knows they're investing in a bust. He wasn't one in college. People like you say trivial shit like it's really meaningful after the fact. For a bust he lasted 7 seasons.

  • @statusmvp01 Am I John Wallace and my name is Will... You're really proving yourself a retard.

  • @WillGotti come on John dont be mad...we all know ur NBA career wasnt all that great...but hey, at least you can say you were better than shawn bradley...cheer up
