OH and speaking of that bandana I was wondering if it faded from black to brown from ass sweat or the sun or both. From the looks of it you have a potential plumbers crack which would explain the butt sweat nawmean? The band decals made it more teeny bopper than a ratted bobber nawmean? Too contrived... Nice bike. think your bike is low budget.Mine is a 300 dollar, 31 yr. old factory rolling wreck,but everything works.put 4 bucks gas in it yesterday, went 60 miles to the beach and back with my girl in tow.The ride back was no traffic, summer ridin' in the sunset. I'm glad people don't realize the value in old jap bikes.Or I wouldn't have any bike at all. It needs new tread and chain and has earned it.peace

i love that bike but why multi band instead of single theme but the misfits on tank is awesome!! and honestly i love these older bikes that look like they have done something than any newer bike. i have a 86 shadow that i would love to bob but im not sure where to start.

Cool bike!! Nothing is cooler than a guy who builds his ride with own two hands. Old school bobbers and such are a true statement...unlike all the middle aged, pretentious a-holes who go to a Harley showroom and buy a 15k+ dyna or posers on the all soooooo original 883. Bunch of cookie cutter sh*t, them all with their polished leather gear etc.

Once you get that installed, proceed to trailer it to all the bike events. Seriously though, toss up some pics of your $800 bike. It is probably way cooler than the high dollar yuppie specials. I understand that bobbers are meant to have all unneeded parts from the bike removed, but are they ever built with 2 seaters? I was also wondering how much are yearly insurance rates for a bobber being that it's a custom bike. I plan on getting this before a car and I'd love for someone who knows more about this to enlighten me.

did you apply the thumbtacks and then the rubber cement for the seat?

@883buz I got the bandanna wet so it would strech a little. Then I thumbtacked it it place then I rubber cemented the edges to the bottom of the seat. You have to strech it real good to get rid of all the wrinkles and folds that might show up.
