Okay, this doesn't relate to this but... In my world I have a magnificent mine, it's

HUGE! The problem is that it takes like five minutes just to get to the part where I am currently mining, to remedy this I started building minecart tracks. I put them down to the bottom of the third level, not very far but at diamond level, I went up to the top to test it and found that the carts were inching along. I tried using booster rails (powered) but it didn't help at all. Can you help?
