@EternallyImperfect I actually did remove the brown part but didn't find too much of a difference when I removed it or not. I think it mostly just make the application much more shattered (for lack of a better description) when I did remove it. but i don't think it's imperative in this instance.

In the other video on how to use foils you said that they don't last very long at all and should only be used for special occasions basically. Do you think that still applies to this tutorial as well, even though there is a lot less foil on the nail and its not really near the edge?

@eellis85 Great question! No, it doesn't apply to this type of application. yeah, because the foil is only being applied in the center of the nail and is completely protected by top coat it lasts just as long as any nail polish. :D
