well, lets see.... there are spikes in front of and behind the wheel, the spikes lock upwards when the button is pressed, until the are commanded to go down, so cutting the wire wont do any good. also, if the cashier forgets to put the spikes down, they will be responsible for buying you a new tire.
This idea is stupid I would not shop here are you kidding me ! prepay is the answer !All I need is a lame cashier to scew up and not release the device and one of my $200.00 tires trashed ,no friggin way !!!!!!!!!!

It locks down the whell until the gas is paid for. It will not let you pump any gas without it. Very expensive to do, better off with prepay.
