@greenforce64 Best wishes for a wonderful transition. I'm not sure what you were initially thinking, as yes, I am absolutely for real. What you see in my videos is what you get in real life.

I'm now post GCS and absolutely happy and healthy in this, my real life. Gosh what a difference. I look back at these earlier videos with a smile. Still in my mind at that time was whether I could ever be the real me I needed to be. Any yet, a determination to make it so.

How much mg of estrogen do you take per day? Those breasts seem to have developed real quick

@1000sidney Thanks. At that point in my transition, I was somewhere slightly overflowing from an A cup into a B cup. I was taking 8mg estradiol at that point. It is important to eatablish the correct levels between you and your endochrinologist.

At the time of my SRS, I was B cup, and I did opt for breast augmentation.

@ZAPPSOFT Hi. No offense taken. :-) Yes, hormones refer to explicitly taking estrogen and an anti-androgen (to block the testosterone). Since that video, I have gone through surgery (sexual reassignment surgery), so I no longer need the anti-androgen. Thus, post SRS, I am taking estrogen. I am using Estrofem patch to supply the necessary estrogen. - Stephie

@kelli43938 Thank you, Kelli. It is the transition that has allowed me to gain my health. There is no age limit on happiness, and happiness begets healthiness. A very wise lady mentioned that it with older folk, it takes us longer to "start", but we complete transition sooner and with more sureness. It is just sooo clear that this journey is absolutely ight for me.

For those in transition, when you're not really sure of yourself (yes, I know the feeling) being positive and projecting a positive image somehow makes others more accepting of you. People who would otherwise view you negatively are disarmed and almost forced to view you in a more positive light. Very important in the midst of transition. - S

@Femininity53 Thanks. This change is SO vital and beneficial to us that it HAS to be talked about. Quite frankly, without this transition, I'd likely be pushing up daisies by now. For me there IS NO downside, and thus no depression nor apprehension. Our detractors simply DON'T KNOW, and can't know what this means to us. There is no expiration date on transition. I know, I looked, and couldn't find a "use by" date anywhere on me. :-) I suppose the hormones are slightly less effective on me than a youngster, but they work just fine. Remember, as a very wise t-lady mentioned in one of her videos "there is no time limit on happiness". Good luck on your transition. - Stephie

@boyalicious - Common sense, observing other transitioners, as well as medical research, will tell you that hormones have the optimum effect on younger transitioners. Hormone therapy isn't going to transform a person in their elder years as easy as they would a teenager. That's why many older transitioners seek FFS to counter the decades of testosterone and masculinity. However, there are those, that have transitioned well in their later years, too. I've had mild facial which helped me.
