My favorite line is the first one by the too proud Black Knight after losing a limb: "Tis but a scratch." Said in such a matter-of-fact tone. I was howling with laughter at that line the first time I saw this movie, which was in a movie theater back in the late 1970s. As funny as this scene is on a computer, it is even funnier on the big screen. IMHO.

When I was 10 my dad and I were watching tv. He was flipping through the channels and stopped on what we thought was a documentary on knights (It was on PBS back in 1977) we caught this scene just as the Black Knight was fighting the Green Knight. Soon we both were laughing hysterically and we realized it was a comedy and so proceeded to watch the rest of the film. A true testament to the genius that is Monty Python.
