The original was the b-side on the Radio Heart - London Times single in '87. And its arguably not from the Berserker sessions and was just filler on those later re releases by other labels.

At the time when I bought it it sounded like his inbetween Strange Charm and Metal Rhythm Roland D50 experimentations, like Mistasax 1/2 and River etc.

'87 was a lean year for new material. Love Rumour. Interesting to hear a new remix of it.

umm.. so how recent is this remix? The first two minutes (and the rest as well except for the etheral female vocals) sound like something that could be from his later albums. :]

It's a fan made remix. I had it before, nothing official. The drum loop is from something off of his later albums.
