Legacy is an OpenGL doom sourceport, but compared to the zDooM based source ports, it feels really dated and broken. It did come up with opengl/3d floors/models sooner than other sourceports, but it has clunky controls, a weird boot interface and horrendous netcode.

I'd suggest you avoid Legacy.
