The contestants this year are all equally alike, they all lack the ability to speak the Hmong language fluently and I can tell came to the Pageant unprepared. The only things that sets Ariel aside from the other girls, and probably is the only reason why she won, is because she is prettier than the other girls.
Whether she answered or not, the fact is that she won...instead of slaughtering her we should all accept the result. The competition was over, she won..geeze! She didn't answer the question well, however she probably did well on other areas, that was why she won. Every round tally up, remember? Whatever she has done in the past, winning this title will make her think about her actions. Probably it will put her on the right path to do something positive for her community too.
