I'll try to do this through my work site. If you have FCP you will need them in their original directory structure and so it would be a very large file.
Hi. AVCHD transcoded to Canopus HQ using Free Utility supplied with EDIUS and EDIUS Neo. Then H264 file made off the EDIUS Timeline using Print to File.
When I made this EDIUS didn't work with native AVCHD very smoothly, but now version 5.5 and 6 are fine with native footage,

Is there any advantage of transcoding to the canopus hq file? rather than just dropping the clips into edius as they are?

When I shot this in 2008 YouTube didn't do 1920 1080p, the camera can shoot 1920 1080 24p, 25p, 30p and 1920 1080 50i
