this song is sooo boring xceppt for the end and the middle cymbal part and the begginning. i hete the the rest. its easy, but boring. and occasionally i hit one of the four note combos perfectly, but its a bit tough to coordinate them with the bass at the last note...sometimes i get it just a fraction late and it fails to register

geddoe316, unless you can play everything perfect, your drum set won't matter much. For example, if your someone with the ability to play like someguy913, obvisouly you want a good drum set so you can play to your full extent.

Yeah, one note can make a difference, but if you can't FC anyways, it's not going to matter much. Don't get me wrong, one miss could cause your gold, but it's totally worth the money. You will not be dissapointed.

What's the point of getting the Ion set if you're not going to use the cymbals and set up exactly like the standard Rock Band set?

If you're committed enough to playing drums to spend $300, you shouldn't care if a cymbal double hits every once in a while. You're playing to get into the experience of playing drums...

all about this lefty thing: I'm a lefty drummer and i play right handed drums and i find that as a real drummer, it has given me a large advantage, i can now ride with both hands at the same pace, but on certain songs, such as orange crush and run to the hills, i go to lefty mode because it gives me the advantage transfer from green to blue notes... i could easily play all the songs i do on righty lefty... LONG

Like Doomorin, I'm lefty, and choose to play on lefty drums, because it feels /right/. Righty doesn't on the drums, and I don't know why there's a difference, but I don't play well on Righty as opposed to Lefty.

However, on the guitar, righty mode is great for me. Lefty just feels all... awkward. Maybe it's the way the guitar was made...

well since u prolly have a Preferance arm for drumming (witch means u like hitting the pads the most with that arm) and then u get soo used to that arm hitting it that when u switch (making ur right arm the preferance) then is feels unconfrable and unatural to use that hand. its all about how much u play on what flip and what ur preferance is

The thing is, I was playing on righty drums for quite a while, and could only play on medium, and couldn't play the harder songs on that difficulty. Switched to lefty just to see what it was like considering I am lefty, and I was playing Enter Sandman on expert in no time flat. It's my best song, aside from maybe the first tier songs, and even then, I'm still not great at that drums, but I can play Enter Sandman quite well. (I haven't really played RB2 drums...)

suprisingly Enter Sandman was the first GS i ever got on ewxpert drums i would alwas screw up on the lower tiers it was also my first FC.. as for RB2 drumming its WAY harder when u get to the higher tiers
