i don't really understand why people still have a picture of Ethiopia as a country still hit by starvation. no! that's totally in the past, Poverty is back in the 1970s not anymore. just like other countries yeah! Ethio has got it's problems, but not to accept the fact that it has got an amazing green land, Blue Nile, etc and beutiful/handsome people, shows nothing but total jealousy.
Actually, poverty still exists in Ethiopia, just as it does in any other country. Where poverty takes its biggest toll is in the rural parts of the country, where farming plays a major role in regards to the livelihood of said people.
Most non-Ethiopians are quick to associate the drought-induced famine in the '80s...remember the attention it got when Michael Jackson and others did that song: USA for Africa? We can't erase the past, try as we might, lol. Peace!
