ive had 3 people hit me doing this exaact same move in just the past 6 months. ive gotten good ant kicking my left leg out to bounce off their car then removing their right side mirror because hey, they aint usin it lol
shoulda ran over the cyclists, they were doing something that was ILLEGAL, riding on the street when there was a perfectly spacious sidewalk on their right, fucking bikers bitching, yea, so what he made a right turn, drivers shouldn't have to acomodate you fucking road hogs!!!!
@AMTRAKAEM7FAN1991 your emphasis of the word "ILLEGAL" is actually incorrect. Please refer to the state road laws which are available online. Cyclists have all of the same rights as motorists do. They are allowed to use the lanes, travel on the road, and generally operate in the same manner as a car. Everything that the cyclist in the video said was true. Please take your prejudice somewhere else.
Laws same or very simIilar for cyclist and motorvehicle operator in Tennessee. I ride a bicyclke, motorcycle and car. I've had more problems on the bicycle than you can imagine. I too have caught up on my bike and talked to motorist about the laws. It gets very frustrating.
Grandfather should have been more patient and shouldn´t have overtaken them ,because the turn is at a very short distance.Just let them go ahead and then turn,so dear granfather,if you are racing to get sooner to your tomb,do it,but don´t take innocents with you.If you read this I hope you understand and don´t try to run me over.Cheers.
the car was clearly in front of the cyclists...the cyclists have a responsibility under New Jersey law to yield to the vehicle that is in front...end of argument...and by chasing down the vehicle the cyclists are creating a road rage incident...another breach of New Jersey law
@no1dagboy unfortunately you are incorrect. The motorist passed the cyclists and knowingly cut in front of them at an unsafe distance. Motorists must check their mirrors and blind spots before turning in front of another road vehicle.
@GroovinFunk get fucked - I drive and I cycle. I'm not a dickhead. Cyclists and drivers can get along perfectly fine if they both use common sense. I've seen videos of cyclists doing dumb shit, and I've seen videos of car drivers doing dumb shit, like in this video here where he cut up traffic (yes, a bike is traffic when on the road). It should be treated like any other vehicle. The driver wouldn't overtake and then cut up another car I'd imagine...
Here we go again, cyclist trying to preach the law to others. If every car/bus/van was fitted with a camera, we would get to see cyclist jumping red lights, swerving lanes, cutting up traffic and break countless more road laws!!
@heeroyuy2009 he was only in front because he rapidly overtook them and cut in front of them. What if a car overtook another moving car and swerved in front of it? Same situation. Both are wrong.
you foolish people, you want to be right, fine. you'll be dead right when someone hits you and drives off. Wheres your frigging common sense? riding in the road where cars are going by three times as fast you are. Stay on the sidewalk where you belong. Your NOT a motor vehicle. You do have the same rights, but you DONT belong on the road.
@DMWAA according to State Law a bicycle has the same rights as a motor vehicle, and may operate on the roads at their discretion. Vehicles with engines are required to exercise due care when operating near cyclists. Cyclists do NOT belong on a sidewalk, otherwise it would be called a "side ride".
dont get me wrong, bicycling is great, and you help ease traffic and what not, but to give bicycles the same rights as cars on the street just makes no sense to me, you cant move as fast as a car can, so you slow down other motorists thus nullifying your point of trying to ease traffic, and possibly making it worse, a motorist shouldnt have to always look out for a bicyclist, its hard enough to look out for all the cars and pedestrians and now a 10mph pedestrian in their lane, use the sidewalk

I'm glad they stopped and talked to them, and that he kept his cool. Way too many uninformed motorists out on the road playing around with our lives. In the end, we always catch up to them at the next light.
Who do Bicyclists insist on being "right"? What's more important? Being right or being alive? You can yack all you want about laws and rules and the fact is there is a difference between what drivers are "supposed" to do and what they "actually" do. @Stalicone What else could the cyclists have done to protect themselves? When there is a difference between what a driver is "supposed" to do & what they "actually" do it's called breaking the law. Oh by the way it's cyclist, not bicyclists. I know i'm "right" about that because i am one, & we're always "right".
As I said, being "right" is all well and good, but staying alive is much more preferable. "I always use "cyclists" to refer to motorcyclists (as opposed to "biker" which connotes a 1%er.) The "cyclists" avoided the idiot who cut them off - That's what made them "right", pursuing the driver and provoking a confrontation - was not. What if the man wasn't a decent member of society, but a psychotic? Why is it so important to make a point?
though I agree they driver was a ass, that guy is talking too much, gonna lose that burn wasting time with that old man. People do that to me all the time. Not gonna let it ruin my ride! Unless the hit me!!
Why waste your breath explaining? That old guy is not interested. His wife wants to argue. You are wasitng your time. They don't care what you know, or don't know. When this happens, I just tell them that I'll call the cops so that the police can tell you who is right and wrong. You have it on video which is a plus for you.
Bicyclist have all the rights of a car and a pedestrian and cars must yield to them, it is important to tell people the laws so that people on bikes don't get killed. Cars have to legally stop for a bicyclist or pedestrian even if they are crossing the middle of the street, cause pedestrians have ride of way at all times. You got to realize that some people are retarded and feel that they are in the right and you are wrong, here the couple in the car is about as wrong as it gets.
When I had a bike, I was right hooked so many times it makes my head hurt to think about it. I find it interesting that NJ law allows for inlines and skateboards on the road. Thanks for the video.
So please enlighten me, how do you know these old folks are "Jews"? Is it the American flag in the back window of their SUV? The fact that they are old? The accents? Neither one of them looks like a jew....In fact, the man looks more like a retired Nazi than a Jew...So, how did you arrive at your conclusion?
@jcolcord5 you are kidding right, the car passed the cyclist on the left overtook them and attempted to cut them off when turning right, the law is that the car has to yield to bicyclist.
Stupid people who misinterpret the law really piss me off. The cyclist are in the right on this one. That no passing on the right law has nothing to do with a vehicle turning right and cutting off cyclists, that's a rule to keep vehicles from overtaking a slower moving vehicle on the right in single lane roadways.
I'm a motorist, and I always yield to cyclist when I'm making right turns, generally, I'll follow closely behind and let them clear the intersection before turning.
haha fucking redneck in the suv. I dont care too much for cyclists on roads that dont have a bike path (still love the sport), but I hate dumbasses who cant understand or read the fucking laws.
he should have run over your bitch ass. your on a fuckin bicycle; obey the "laws" not yield to 2 ton automobiles and get your ass killed! prick motherfuckers
Dude, a wise man once said," The best fights one are the ones best avoided." I understand your anger, but you should have let it go. You just made your day worse, wasted 6:27 minutes of your life, and both of you learned absolutely nothing from this approach.
Entirely your fault. There was no lane or markings on that roadway giving you priority or right-of-way. Instead, in the same traffic lane, you must wait behind any vehicle turning just like every other vehicle in the lane behind it. You're just another vehicle on the road, not god's gift to the world, so behave and operate like it.
it's strange how motorcyclists seem to be able to handle it a bit better than you girls. Oh wait, they are wearing appropriate clothing for such an endeavour.
@Drobilliard Motorcycles aren't slow moving vehicles. They take a whole lane, and are able to go the speed of traffic, thus avoiding shit like this. Car drivers (for the most part) respect motorcycles as if they were cars. On the other hand they treat bicycles like nuisances who can be ignored and don't deserve to be treated like a vehicle. Also, try biking a decent speed for a while in full motorcycle leathers. Have fun overheating.
@rjc34 surely that's all the more reason for cyclists to legally need to wear leather, if they are slower and more at risk. The reason that car drivers treat cyclists like a nuisance is because they fucking are.
god you guys are losers. Only a total loser would follow a guy and give him hassle like this, Other road users might moan about other drivers under their breath or even yell out to them, but they don't follow someone and have a go unless they are complete jerks.
If I was that driver I would've told you both to go fuck yourselves right at the start of the conversation. I seriously hate all cyclists. Especially holier than thou ones like you.
@Drobilliard Suddenly, when cycling becomes fashonable, you all jump on your stupid lightweight, unstable racing bikes wearing the gayest clothes ever. To top it off you start sporting gay-ass helmet cams like you're always the victims and never at fault. Here's a newsflash, motorists don't record and playback all the times cyclists have done insanely moronic things (which is an awful lot), they just get over it and carry on. They don't upload it onto Youtube to moan about it.
@Drobilliard You have absolutely no means of identification, no numberplate, nothing. Maybe you should ride on the fucking pavement if you can't handle cars around, you choose to be in a place where you could be killed on a contraption that was invented in 1817 (or 1493 if you just want the first concept by Caprotti). Maybe be grateful that you don't live in Beijing where I understand cycling is way more popular and there are still shit loads of cars around.
@Drobilliard However, in Beijing, people aren't cycling to keep fit and prepetually self gratify, they are cycling because it's the only way for them to get around. get your heads out of your pompous, arrogant arses, just get the fuck on with it and stop moaning you fucking cunts. p.s I hate you and your stupid luminecant attire. You might be riding to save the planet, in which case, think of the amount of polution created by the huge fucking tailbacks you dirty little spandex clad morons cause.
@Drobilliard Cool story bro. I hope one day you hit a cyclist and they sue you for everything you have; then you'll be stuck without a car, and maybe have to try cycling!
@rjc34 it isn't going to happen because I'm too good of a driver. Plus, if it did, I would finish the job and make sure no one was about to identify me.
The cars have the right of the road, not cyclists.
You saving the environment and saving gas doesn't give you the right to provoke these confrontations. Motorcyclists have the right of the road over cyclists anyday.
Motorists and motorcyclist have the right to the road because they pay insurance, licensing, registration. If cyclists want the same rights on the road, get the same papers as the rest of us. Being environmentally friendly is not a license.
@upallhours9 Sorry, but are you just fucking stupid? Bicycles are considered vehicles under the law, and have all the same rights as any other road-legal vehicle. You're damn right when there's cars parked on the right I'm taking the whole fucking lane to myself, and guess what, it's my right under the law! If you want to bitch and moan to take away cyclists rights, go ahead, but just know that if you cut off a cyclist like this, and they hit you, you're the one guilty and getting sued.
Oh no, we all gotta agree with us, or rjc34 is gonna curse us all in the comments section,
If bicycles are considered vehicles they should be paper-worked as vehicles, the same as motorcycles, and cars. Cyclists have rights? Really, is it in the charter?
Us motorists find cyclists a nuisance, well, because they are.
Oh, and if you T-bone my car, firstly YOU are at fault, and secondly, you will be more injured than I ever will be.
@upallhours9 yeah, I'm constantly annoyed by cyclists not riding appropriately, if they had number plates like cars I'm sure they would pay more care and attention to the rules of the road. There is no requirement in England for anyone to take a cycling test because it's assumed that for some reason cyclists can handle roads correctly.
This is totally silly, ANYONE using the road should be required to at least know the rules of the road, not just the rules that affect them.
@Drobilliard Just because being a cyclist doesn't require a road test doesn't mean cyclists aren't required to know the rules of the road. If you break a traffic law, cops will ticket you. I've seen it in person. And no, we still can't ride on the sidewalks, because yes, they'll give you a big hefty fine.
@rjc34 My point here is that I have seen cyclists with my own eyes doing totally stupid stuff on the road, and on the pavement, going through red lights etc. I have never seen a cyclist being ticketed for any infractions.
If there was a numberplate system and licensing, bikes would be more accountable and it would be a reason for them to abide by the law. However, in the current system there is practically zero traceability for any cyclist after the fact so they basically have free reign.
@Drobilliard Oh definitely, I also see all kinds of stuff like that, and it pisses me off as well. Perhaps the police in your area just don't care as much, but I remember I think it was last summer the police decided to specifically target cyclist infractions and issued hundreds of tickets for all sorts of things.
I think the key isn't licensing and number plate systems, but awareness and information campaigns, as well as better enforcement of the laws.
@rjc34 in addition to my last point. Although I have seen cyclists doing stupid shit, I am not the sort of looser sad act that will film it on an onboard camera and report them to the police.
I take on board that roads need to be handled and navigated carefully full stop, we have more vehicles on the road than ever before.
My problem in this situation is one group of people thinking they are beyond reproach. Yes some drivers are tards, but everyone has to deal with it, not just cyclists.
@rjc34 what I am saying is that they aren't required to know the rules of the road at all. i.e, there is no reason for someone to know them if they don't want to, but people who have driving licenses ARE required by law to know the rules. After that, if they still choose to drive like a tool they can get pulled by police a lot easier, if they lose their license they lose their right to use the road. If a cyclists gets a fine, they lose nothing but money and can still ride.
@upallhours9 Check your local driving laws. If you're really from Niagara Falls, then you should definitely know cyclists have just as much of a right to be on the road as any motorized vehicle. Check the MTO website if you don't believe me.
And no, if you pull out into traffic and into my path, and I can't stop fast enough, you're the one at fault. Just as it's all too common for a car to pull a left into the path of a motorcycle, the same happens with us.
0:55 . "Control, this is biker 1, we are in pursuit of a silver retard carrier, suspects are two decrepid pensioners with no idea about the laws of the road. Requesting back up immediately" lol
once again did he knock you off ??,NO !!,he stopped you do have brakes dont you he was turning before you got to him,but cause he stopped to loose that person cross you caught him up.YOU SHOULD HAVE STOPPED ASWELL...you and that mouse of yours were just looking for an arguement..if i were that driver i'd have bitch slapped you mofo !!!
@curnock shut up prick. the amount of times this has happened to me -.- its fuckinscary when someone decides to cut you up especially when they dont even signal -.- at least they educated a driver on the rules of the road. potentially one less hazard to cyclists/pedestrians etc.
@Daniel96sj It is illegal to ride on footpath. Just because 30 seconds of your life is soooo important that u cannot wait doesnt mean cyclists shouldn't be on road
Not cool with the driver's reaction. Also not cool with you folks not actually looking out for yourselves and reading the obvious (to me anyway) signs that this idiot was gonna pull a last minute right turn. I've been cut off.. I've been doored.. -twice- and I've been deliberately run off the road. Confronting ONE PERSON isn't going to make a bit of difference. Learning what to look for will save your ass. Next time learn to brake faster when you see that last minute turn signal.
The motorist was wrong in overtaking so soon before truning right, and also made it worse by stopping. Also, the cyclists are "gutter bunnies". Command respect, get respect; ride far enough left to discourage right hooks and they are far less common, but also avoidable through the quick turn technique. Bad driving here, on the part of everyone.
The driver was wrong, but the cyclists were crazy to follow him and provoke the situation which could have had undesirable consequences. Cyclist here went out to cause trouble, if your a cyclist on busy streets then you have something wrong in your head, if you want to risk getting crushed or mangled up then thats your choice, best keep cylists in quiet country roads. its not worht losing your life to prove you were right against a 2 ton metal box, think about it,

You got to realize that some people are retarded and feel that they are in the right and you are wrong, here the couple in the car is about as wrong as it gets.

if you have the same rights, then no passing on the right.. OR dont ride ur bike on a main road. and your picking on a an old guy...
jcolcord5 3 months ago
@jcolcord5 you are kidding right, the car passed the cyclist on the left overtook them and attempted to cut them off when turning right, the law is that the car has to yield to bicyclist.
Pekabooicu 3 months ago
Stupid people who misinterpret the law really piss me off. The cyclist are in the right on this one. That no passing on the right law has nothing to do with a vehicle turning right and cutting off cyclists, that's a rule to keep vehicles from overtaking a slower moving vehicle on the right in single lane roadways.
I'm a motorist, and I always yield to cyclist when I'm making right turns, generally, I'll follow closely behind and let them clear the intersection before turning.

wbrandon59 3 months ago
Entirely your fault. There was no lane or markings on that roadway giving you priority or right-of-way. Instead, in the same traffic lane, you must wait behind any vehicle turning just like every other vehicle in the lane behind it. You're just another vehicle on the road, not god's gift to the world, so behave and operate like it.

it's strange how motorcyclists seem to be able to handle it a bit better than you girls. Oh wait, they are wearing appropriate clothing for such an endeavour.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard Motorcycles aren't slow moving vehicles. They take a whole lane, and are able to go the speed of traffic, thus avoiding shit like this. Car drivers (for the most part) respect motorcycles as if they were cars. On the other hand they treat bicycles like nuisances who can be ignored and don't deserve to be treated like a vehicle. Also, try biking a decent speed for a while in full motorcycle leathers. Have fun overheating.
rjc34 4 months ago
@rjc34 surely that's all the more reason for cyclists to legally need to wear leather, if they are slower and more at risk. The reason that car drivers treat cyclists like a nuisance is because they fucking are.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard Too right! Well said.
upallhours9 4 months ago
god you guys are losers.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard Suddenly, when cycling becomes fashonable, you all jump on your stupid lightweight, unstable racing bikes wearing the gayest clothes ever. To top it off you start sporting gay-ass helmet cams like you're always the victims and never at fault. Here's a newsflash, motorists don't record and playback all the times cyclists have done insanely moronic things (which is an awful lot), they just get over it and carry on. They don't upload it onto Youtube to moan about it.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard You have absolutely no means of identification, no numberplate, nothing. Maybe you should ride on the fucking pavement if you can't handle cars around, you choose to be in a place where you could be killed on a contraption that was invented in 1817 (or 1493 if you just want the first concept by Caprotti). Maybe be grateful that you don't live in Beijing where I understand cycling is way more popular and there are still shit loads of cars around.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard However, in Beijing, people aren't cycling to keep fit and prepetually self gratify, they are cycling because it's the only way for them to get around. get your heads out of your pompous, arrogant arses, just get the fuck on with it and stop moaning you fucking cunts. p.s I hate you and your stupid luminecant attire. You might be riding to save the planet, in which case, think of the amount of polution created by the huge fucking tailbacks you dirty little spandex clad morons cause.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard Cool story bro. I hope one day you hit a cyclist and they sue you for everything you have; then you'll be stuck without a car, and maybe have to try cycling!
rjc34 4 months ago
@rjc34 it isn't going to happen because I'm too good of a driver. Plus, if it did, I would finish the job and make sure no one was about to identify me.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard Right, because committing murder is the acceptable alternative here.
rjc34 4 months ago
@Drobilliard Very true! Motorists have better things to do than drive around with dash-cams.
There are more motorists on the road than bicyclists, and most of us have been slighted by other motorists.
We don't go around filming us being victims. I just see cyclists doing it.
I share your feelings on cyclists, especially the ones that ride on pave, or sidewalks, just weaving as they please.
upallhours9 4 months ago
I think it is dangerous to confront someone like that. Good way to get shot.
cocosdad55 4 months ago
A tractor, lawnmower on the road? LMAO!
Being environmentally friendly is not a license.
upallhours9 4 months ago
@upallhours9 Sorry, but are you just fucking stupid? Bicycles are considered vehicles under the law, and have all the same rights as any other road-legal vehicle. You're damn right when there's cars parked on the right I'm taking the whole fucking lane to myself, and guess what, it's my right under the law! If you want to bitch and moan to take away cyclists rights, go ahead, but just know that if you cut off a cyclist like this, and they hit you, you're the one guilty and getting sued.
rjc34 4 months ago
Oh no, we all gotta agree with us, or rjc34 is gonna curse us all in the comments section,
If bicycles are considered vehicles they should be paper-worked as vehicles, the same as motorcycles, and cars. Cyclists have rights? Really, is it in the charter?
Us motorists find cyclists a nuisance, well, because they are.
Oh, and if you T-bone my car, firstly YOU are at fault, and secondly, you will be more injured than I ever will be.
upallhours9 4 months ago
@upallhours9 yeah, I'm constantly annoyed by cyclists not riding appropriately, if they had number plates like cars I'm sure they would pay more care and attention to the rules of the road. There is no requirement in England for anyone to take a cycling test because it's assumed that for some reason cyclists can handle roads correctly.
This is totally silly, ANYONE using the road should be required to at least know the rules of the road, not just the rules that affect them.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard Just because being a cyclist doesn't require a road test doesn't mean cyclists aren't required to know the rules of the road. If you break a traffic law, cops will ticket you. I've seen it in person. And no, we still can't ride on the sidewalks, because yes, they'll give you a big hefty fine.
rjc34 4 months ago
@rjc34 My point here is that I have seen cyclists with my own eyes doing totally stupid stuff on the road, and on the pavement, going through red lights etc. I have never seen a cyclist being ticketed for any infractions.
If there was a numberplate system and licensing, bikes would be more accountable and it would be a reason for them to abide by the law. However, in the current system there is practically zero traceability for any cyclist after the fact so they basically have free reign.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard Oh definitely, I also see all kinds of stuff like that, and it pisses me off as well. Perhaps the police in your area just don't care as much, but I remember I think it was last summer the police decided to specifically target cyclist infractions and issued hundreds of tickets for all sorts of things.
I think the key isn't licensing and number plate systems, but awareness and information campaigns, as well as better enforcement of the laws.
rjc34 4 months ago
@rjc34 in addition to my last point. Although I have seen cyclists doing stupid shit, I am not the sort of looser sad act that will film it on an onboard camera and report them to the police.
I take on board that roads need to be handled and navigated carefully full stop, we have more vehicles on the road than ever before.
My problem in this situation is one group of people thinking they are beyond reproach. Yes some drivers are tards, but everyone has to deal with it, not just cyclists.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@Drobilliard And yes, some bikers are total tools as well.
rjc34 4 months ago
@rjc34 what I am saying is that they aren't required to know the rules of the road at all. i.e, there is no reason for someone to know them if they don't want to, but people who have driving licenses ARE required by law to know the rules. After that, if they still choose to drive like a tool they can get pulled by police a lot easier, if they lose their license they lose their right to use the road. If a cyclists gets a fine, they lose nothing but money and can still ride.
Drobilliard 4 months ago
@upallhours9 Check your local driving laws. If you're really from Niagara Falls, then you should definitely know cyclists have just as much of a right to be on the road as any motorized vehicle. Check the MTO website if you don't believe me.
And no, if you pull out into traffic and into my path, and I can't stop fast enough, you're the one at fault. Just as it's all too common for a car to pull a left into the path of a motorcycle, the same happens with us.

Next time learn to brake faster when you see that last minute turn signal.
symboliceon1 4 months ago
The motorist was wrong in overtaking so soon before truning right, and also made it worse by stopping. Also, the cyclists are "gutter bunnies". Command respect, get respect; ride far enough left to discourage right hooks and they are far less common, but also avoidable through the quick turn technique. Bad driving here, on the part of everyone.
jsallen1946 4 months ago
The driver was wrong, but the cyclists were crazy to follow him and provoke the situation which could have had undesirable consequences. Cyclist here went out to cause trouble, if your a cyclist on busy streets then you have something wrong in your head, if you want to risk getting crushed or mangled up then thats your choice, best keep cylists in quiet country roads. its not worht losing your life to prove you were right against a 2 ton metal box, think about it,
