@Teoden29 Well, as far as labels are concerned, (though I prefer not to label myself and I've heard Amy Lee doesn't like labeling her music) I'm a lot closer to that label (goth) than I am to the emo label and Evanescence is TECHNICALLY (labeled as) "Gothic Metal". I'm also a big fan of metal in general in addition to having a "darker" personality, so of course I'd like this kind of music. :)

I wrote this story once about this girl Willow who died saving her friends, and they buried her in this clearing in a birch forest while it was snowing. All I could think was of the verse "look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hollow tree" when I found it again and couldn't remember for the life of me what song it was... Found it. Must've been listening to Fallen that week. Man, that was a depressing story. Beautiful song, though the green flashes on the video were disconcerting.

If I may ask, what is your story about? Personally, I have the classic 'Good vs. Evil' theme.
@JustFlemishMe It's mostly about Good vs Evil (they're being tracked by this horrible cult they escaped), but it's also Protagonist vs World (Willow is from an alternate dimension---I write mostly fantasy, so she and her friends are at risk of A, discovery and B, actually fading into nonexistence) and they fight among themselves a lot.
Emotions are indeed universal; something about creative muses or a collective subconscious or just human nature. It's good to find another writer out there. :)

Your story sounds very interesting... and way better than mine, lol. I mostly write fanfiction and I have one OC of my own, so the plot is kind of already laid out for me when I begin. I just have to get the dialogue and the pre-existing characters down. Hopefully I can come up with good ideas like yours someday. :)
@NSwisher15721 I love, love, love writing fanfiction! I learned to write from my favourite fandoms, and as such I can write in the voices of their characters because it's literally where my characters come from. But I must say, individual writing allows for a lot more freedom. It all depends on what I'm in the mood to write, really.
@LuckyNeko123 I do a lot of my childhood favourites: Harry Potter, Warriors, Ranger's Apprentice, Maximum Ride, and my current fandom is the tv show Merlin. I'm a nerd, obviously. :D

When I'm really pleased with my life, things will take a darker turn for poor Rosabel (my unlucky Ranger's Apprentice OC) and the gang; when I'm in the pits, there's a prank war. I don't read much anime, I never got into it; I think the logic behind that was "why look at pictures when you can read words?"
@demonwolf951 I'd advise to stop writing. Maybe, though emotions are universal, your way of coping with them is personal. Sorry, I can't be of much help. Try to relax. I don't know; walk around in nature or something. For others, that's what helps. Hope you will get relieved of it!

I'm trying to make it a novel, but I only have 4 page, and One of those is the title page I made. It look really awesome. I have no idea what the problem's going to be. Maybe and evil witch takes over the school. LOL :D I'm going to keep trying, though!
@TheAz132 Just write everyday. Don't force yourself to write it beginning, middle, end. I jump around, make random scenes, and then wonder "how did they get from the beginning stuff to what I wrote to here?" and once I get a general idea, I fill in the gaps. :) My best friend Quinn and I cowrote a story... Currently? It's got 80000 words and isn't done by a long stretch! Every great story has ridiculously mundane beginning. And don't rush genius. If you're better at shorter stories, do that!

i love her songs! they give you that HAUNTED feeling. sometimes i can't help myself from GOING UNDER, and indulging my ears in her music. i swear, its TAKING OVER ME. but maybe im just being ridiculous, maybe its just IMAGINARY. these songs speak to me. they WHISPER to me when i listen to them. i heard one of her songs in the beginning of OCTOBER and since then i can't stop listening to it! these songs BRING ME TO LIFE!

I wrote this story once about this girl Willow who died saving her friends, and they buried her in this clearing in a birch forest while it was snowing. All I could think was of the verse "look for me in the white forest, hiding in a hollow tree" when I found it again and couldn't remember for the life of me what song it was... Found it. Must've been listening to Fallen that week. Man, that was a depressing story. Beautiful song, though the green flashes on the video were disconcerting.

@JustFlemishMe It's mostly about Good vs Evil (they're being tracked by this horrible cult they escaped), but it's also Protagonist vs World (Willow is from an alternate dimension---I write mostly fantasy, so she and her friends are at risk of A, discovery and B, actually fading into nonexistence) and they fight among themselves a lot.
Emotions are indeed universal; something about creative muses or a collective subconscious or just human nature. It's good to find another writer out there. :)

Your story sounds very interesting... and way better than mine, lol. I mostly write fanfiction and I have one OC of my own, so the plot is kind of already laid out for me when I begin. I just have to get the dialogue and the pre-existing characters down. Hopefully I can come up with good ideas like yours someday. :)

I learned to write from my favourite fandoms, and as such I can write in the voices of their characters because it's literally where my characters come from. But I must say, individual writing allows for a lot more freedom. It all depends on what I'm in the mood to write, really.

When I'm really pleased with my life, things will take a darker turn for poor Rosabel (my unlucky Ranger's Apprentice OC) and the gang; when I'm in the pits, there's a prank war. I don't read much anime, I never got into it; I think the logic behind that was "why look at pictures when you can read words?"

@demonwolf951 I'd advise to stop writing. Maybe, though emotions are universal, your way of coping with them is personal. Sorry, I can't be of much help. Try to relax. I don't know; walk around in nature or something. For others, that's what helps. Hope you will get relieved of it!

I'm trying to make it a novel, but I only have 4 page, and One of those is the title page I made. It look really awesome. I have no idea what the problem's going to be. Maybe and evil witch takes over the school. LOL :D I'm going to keep trying, though!

@TheAz132 Just write everyday. Don't force yourself to write it beginning, middle, end. I jump around, make random scenes, and then wonder "how did they get from the beginning stuff to what I wrote to here?" and once I get a general idea, I fill in the gaps. :) My best friend Quinn and I cowrote a story... Currently? It's got 80000 words and isn't done by a long stretch! Every great story has ridiculously mundane beginning. And don't rush genius. If you're better at shorter stories, do that!
