Stunning design always catch looks.

I have driven a 2003 for 7 years. never left me stranded. Antilock brakes have never fail in the rain or slippery pavement. The bike is not for newbies at low speeds. It is a heavy cruiser you can ride all day. Cruise control is flawless

They will be a classic one day .

Truely a classy looking bike. Handling though leaves alot too be desired. Owned a silver 2003 until 7/2009. Traded it on a more reliable and better handling '08 goldwing.

I ride an R1200C and to me, the CL is BUTT UGLY!! Oh well, I am sure there are foks that say the same thing about my bike....

Trumpetplayer60076: The term of choice is "Fugly". That's largely why I wanted this bike. the other factor was the BMW name. Your "C" is also a rolling work of art.

I wish they would have the bike and car adds showing all the vehicles and not the road or some guy flying down the road to give us the feeling of freedom, show us the bloody vehicles just like the adds from the 60's and the 70's.

grafikfeat: Perhaps there are some similarities. Quite often "Harley Folks" come up and admire mine. Generally harley Folks have nicer comments about the CLC's looks than other riders.

Yes... I agree... It's also the rider and the length of time they've been on a bike... Newbies are brand bashers... It's all the same wind. Just ride.

Same color as mine. Great overall bike! Great responses from every bike I come in contact with. Truely a rolling work of art.

It looks like a Harley-Davidson...not sure why anyone would buy the R1200CL over the K1200LT.

A CL doesn't look like a (LT) "battlestar". CL's are attention getters.

I'll stick with my K1200S

mbpaypal: Because LT's or Battlestars are behemoths!. There's little styling, no stricking looks about it. overall looks are cheap in appearence. Lt's have more HP but that doesn't concern me much.
