  • Robert was my 7th grade art teacher. I made sure to see him several times a year through graduating high school and then after that as well. After graduating I left Oklahoma but made sure to set time aside to visit Robert everytime I went home. My heart is deeply saddned at his passing and forever will be. He taught me great things in life and was a true inspiration for how life should be lived. I'll miss him terribly until we meet again. Rest in Peace Old Friend....Nick Clarke

  • A true American artist. A friend at work and play. I had the pleasure of sharing both with him. In the mid-seventies Robert and I worked together in construction during the day and played our music at night. He was a great teacher at work and an inspiration to my music. In 2001 he gave me an 8'' bronze figure of me playing my guitar. I will always cherish this piece of his work. I miss you Robert Dean. We will meet again!!
