  • Yes she does have edema. Very common also. From her ducts increasing correct but also the excess fluid bound up within her system.

  • This was better than watching my ex-wife giving birth!

  • @ 7122222.

She's taking it to my house as we can't afford to buy any milk from the local supermarket. Everything is so dear these days.

  • OH AND BY THE WAY YOU GUYS ARE ASSHOLES FOR TAKING THEM BABIES AWAY FROM THEIR MOTHER YOU FREAKING MORONS!!!!

  • @Ladi35 Please go educate yourself before you decide to open your trap and offend others. Obviously you have no idea how the dairy industry works. Calves left with their mothers have a higher degree of death bc they bc they have such low immune systems. Separation allows for a guarantee that the baby will get enough colostrum and that they will be more socialized.

  • TELL THE FUCKING FOREIGN LADY TO SHUT THE FUCK UP SHE IS MAKING ME SICK WITH ALL HER MUMBLING , AND IF YOU CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH THEN SHUT UP !!!! AND WHAT HAPPEN WITH THEM CALVES????

  • aww thats so cute. the baby could barley stand but was trying to.

  • And if someone tells me to shut up and go away, you do it in your own breath, because I'm considering reporting this where ever I can

  • I'm afraid I have to agree, the mom is well able and I'm sure she feels the loss of her baby just like any mother would, how cruel are you people.. if there is danger to the animal before birth, get a vet and fix it.. you don't take a newborn away from mom unless it's mom's decision to not care for he baby.. I',m so mad at you people I'd like to report you to animal abuse

separate her if you need to, do what ever you need to do, but keep baby and mom together

  • @VictoriaGreyh

Unfortunately, animals can't speak so the humans take the p***.

  • @VictoriaGreyh Calves left with their mothers have a higher rate of death due to exposure to disease. They are very immune compromised and do better isolated. Cows have also been bred to have a low mothering ability which is why she didn't really care when the calf was taken away. You can't equate cows to humans. It just doesn't work that way. They function differently and act much differently. It's obvious you've never worked in the ag field and really, no one cares about your opinion.

  • thought this was looking OK until I saw that caf cart - am absolute set up for even yet more cruelty to animals - cows make wonderful mothers and know exactly what is best for their young. dreadful - to make all those coo cooing noises and pretend you are interested.

exposure to other cows my arse - and colostrum - life-threatening - yeah that's why all mammals make it - even humans. Get a grip. these videos are educational - cos we think that farmers are actually interested in their animals.

  • @AntheaWemoon Please shut the fuck up and go comment on a plant video

  • the bigining madrijust madrijust

  • should take cow mother and twins calf together other room alone

  • can we say veal meat thats what farmers do if they take the calfs away from mother right away

  • @8425angie why in the hell she is taking away the calves? Its a natural process for mother to clean her new borns but she seperated them. I thought whites were cruel to arabs and africans but now i know they are cruel to cows too. we worship cows in india and that bitch has no respect for my god. I hope her kids abandon her in nursing home when she is old.

  • @8425angie the calves are not sold for veal. IT's already a very low market in the us, and oftern a misconception. They are kept in the herd/sold to kids in 4H for shows.

  • @mjs500doo no offense but I don't think u kno ANYTHING about dairy farms!! >:( "potentially contaminated colostrum can be very life-threatening" are u MOUSE-BRAINED!!!! The calf will DIE with out it's mother's colostrum!!!! Do some research on the internet before u piss off more people who KNOW what they are TALKING ABOUT!!!!

  • @Rohit84up Do you know how many dead calves Ive picked up bc the mothers didn't clean them correctly and they suffocated on theie own placental bag? One too many. You, my dear, are cray cray and obviously have never worked in the ag industry. The woman in the video is a sweetheart and has saved the lives of more cows than you have ever worshiped. Hope karma comes back and bites you in the ass

  • Прикольн!

  • she took her babys the mama should of kicked her asss

  • @multiboonboon I am sorry but I completely disagree with you. "it is unlikely that the cow would accept the calf back" if that is true why is there an entire industry of large animal vets to attend the birth of animals. Yes mama will take the calf back. As far as veal, I can't say we have beef cattle not dairy. "No animal should need meds at birth" strongly disagree both of my children and every child I know got meds. You should keep your liberal opinion to yourself.

  • Nothing to do with risk to the calf its all about money, keep the cows milk and have the baby served up as veal. sheer exploitation.

  • @MultiBoonboon

You are making alot of assumptions. These are dairy cows and they require a lot of attention at birth totally different from beef cattle. The calves are usually weighed and given meds like antibiotics at birth and returned to mama until weaned. There are a lot of cows present that means a lot of pathogens.

  • @KentuckyBrian1 it is unlikely that the cow would accept the calf back. Calves are a bi-product of the industry only a few will go on to become the next dairy herd. Plus many 'Dairy' cows are serviced by a 'Beef' Bull the need to be pregnant over and over to produce milk does result in the surplus calves that can be quickly turned over as veal so they are. No animal should need meds at birth unless they are extremely ill none of the cows at my dads farm need it.

  • @MultiBoonboon none of the cows bred at this dairy are bred to beef bulls, im not sure where you got that misconception? esp since both of those calves came out looking like standard jerseys.

  • @MultiBoonboon none of the calves are sold into "veal". considereing its almost an abolished market in this state, i dont see where you have obtained that misconception. the calves are kept within the herd and/or sold to children in 4H groups who want to show them as calves/heifers/bulls in the fairs.

  • why are they not left with mum ??? seems abit cruel to me they should of calfed in private on her own i think its abit heartless that !!

  • @chapman9967 it's a much safer environment for the calf, in terms of health, to be separated from the mother. Cows have been bred to have a reduced mothering ability, and honestly, after a few hours she forgets about the calf.

  • that is so sad they are taking the baby from the mom. That must be so traumatic for them. If this is because it is a risk to the calf to be there then that means there is something unhealthy and wrong with their farm.

  • @kameikaindia

or the other expecting mothers are taking a dump in the same area as the calf. The baby will be returned to mama

  • @kameikaindia I'm sorry cows don't get trained to sit on a toilet and take a shit, which is where most of the exposure will come from. There is nothing unhealthy about most dairy farms, but rather those that are making false opinions of the farms.

  • WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE TAKING THE CALF? :S

  • @7122222

When human babies are born they are weighed and given medical attention like glucose or antibiotics. Domestic animal babies often get the same medical care.

  • @KentuckyBrian1 Really it seem as if they did not give you your antibiotics or glucose when you were born, no wonder you comment like this. Animals are naturally well equiped to survive unlike humans. Its considered as cruelity what she has done to the mother cow and the calves. I would tell that lady to get lost and let cow do her business as nature has intended.

  • @Rohit84up First, the cow had twins, which mean neither one of them would survive, given that they are only 30lbs and that jersey is definitely not "equiped". Years and years of breeding has made her into the high producer that she is. She would eventually die bc of exposure to too many bacteria, and such a high milk yield. In addition, calves would die from illness and/or orphaning.

  • lol russians...

  • dairy farming is a heartless business!

  • @inasasha soo instead of helping the cow, you sit there for 10 min. watching!? pussy ass farmer...

  • @urjnlegend why the hell are you going to interfere and try to pull a calf and rick vaginal tearing when the mama can do it all on her own. It's healthier for her and the caf and the farmer to have her calve on her own. If she were in trouble, and the calf was stuck, then proper measures could be take, you cocksucker

  • @MissCheshireCat19 so natural you take the calf away -_-; nice to see you are all for nature

  • @urjnlegend we take the calves away to make sure they actually live. If you were to just let the cow "roam free" then she would post likely die from so much milk production an no outlet, even if she has two calves. The calves would not have a very high chance (percentagewise) to live because of risk to pathogens. For other reason, please refer to other comments I've left on this page.

  • if that was one of my cows i would of intervined by now took the stuff from the second calves mouth and the tounge looks very grey also she look bloody tired i would not be able to stand there after the first i would of been in there assting but lush set of twins and gorgus cow but surely u would let them suck of mum first then take away

  • I couldn't really se the entire video but I agree I'm not vegetarian myself but still they shouldn't take animals lives for this junk we call food

  • @okputussy Animals were created for food. Not for pets.

  • you butchers are the devil's tax collectors sucking our economy dry by killing our wildlife for your personal gain

  • @alexgeorge501

You do realize that cattle are not wildlife right. They could not survive in the wild

  • You people are so uneducated. They take the baby's away to raise them in stalls that they can't even move in so you can have your fucking cheese burgers. Do some research on how a cow is raised and slaughtered on a factory farm. Then think again about how much you love that cheese burger or taco of yours.

  • @Easycheezie your an ass hole. Who gives a fuck about your damn cheese burger? It's not fair how an animals life has to be takin away so you faggots can have your meat. I'm a vegetarian because unlike you I did research and I know exactly how cruely the animals you eat are treated. Do yourself a favor and do some research. Then we will see how much you care about your god damn cheese burger.

  • @AshleyRoseEskes

    ...grow up.

  • why did they use sawdust?

  • I dont understand why the babies were taken away I hope they're being well taken care of

  • First off Sorry for my spelling, I lern in Ben Shemen Yoth Villige , in Israel . What i have lernd is that if a cow gives birth to twins one of them dies all ways, so did one of them die ?

  • @8LocKDowN8 That isn't always the case. The only differences between twins and single calves is the size (which is one of the main causes of death), and depending on whether the twins are identical or fraternal, there may have been hormone imbalances in utero leading to infertility.

  • where did they take them... ;(

  • @wolfquestgirl13 and it can't be good if they PUSHED they mom away from here calf

  • @wolfquestgirl13 Probably put them in a veal crate, to keep them immobile so their meat is more tender. It is barbaric.

  • @theonlyrel lol, how come everyone automatically assumes they go for veal??? the calves are put into hutches for a good 2 months until theyre stomach compartments start developing and they are less likely to die. They then get put in with a larger group of calves and stay with those girls except for when they are calving/become sick.

  • the future of Mc donalds at work

  • what are you doing you stupid bunch of dumb arses. that is so cruel.

  • taking the baby right after she gave birth?? thats just COLD I mean for crying out loud you could've at least let her stay with her calfs for a little while instead of stealing them when they weren't even dry yet, shame on you

  • @Iamshedevil it makes it harder for the mother to separate from the calf the longer shes with it. she starts bonding with it and its a more difficult case to take the baby away then

  • Also, she took the baby away because of the risks to the calf. Exposure to other cows, or even drinking momma's potentially contaminated colostrum can be very life-threatening. Especially with Johne's herds.

  • @mjs500doo well that dosenot stand in the wild

  • @c1c2c3able Her bag is swollen with edema, same thing happens with humans, as in other animals also. She's got her colostrum (first milk) in there under the swelling.

  • @mjs500doo she actually doesn't have an edema. she's a dairy cow which means shes making lots of milk. also, shes an older girl, and as the years have gone by, her ductal network has grown more and made the "bag" larger.

  • why was the mama cows ''milk bag?" so huge?

  • @c1c2c3able it was big bc she has ti feed the babys .... just like femals that are prego. there boobs get big for the whol best feeding thing ... KAY BYE

  • @c1c2c3able She is a dairy cow, they are bred to make milk that you put in your cereal. They make alot more milk compared to a beef breed.

  • @TheShelbyloulou coool

  • awww por cow it looks like her vagina split in half

  • ew you should put straw for the flooring not that dirt or sand stuff.

  • @SarahANDBrianPEACE99 It really looks like shavings or saw dust.

  • @mjs500doo yeaahh it does. either way thats getting in the cows mouth and it must feel bad. lol

  • @SarahANDBrianPEACE99 Lol gotcha.

  • @SarahANDBrianPEACE99 It is sawdust.

  • @SarahANDBrianPEACE99 ...they're on rice hulls.... which is, like straw, a plant bybroduct

  • wheres the action

  • ware the fk is she takeing the baby calfs! poor mother

  • Awww poor cow it looked like it was very painful

  • awww the mircle of life!

  • why are they took the baby away from his mama ? I d

  • a mare? don't you mean foal?

  • @SuperGreenSocks lmao! ...i think you meant 'a calf? don't you mean foal?

  • I experienced a mare not able to deal with the placenta, so unfortunately the calf died. However, her second try became a Star.

  • Aww.
