@dvaifilmsdotcom my cat clawed my dog, his face was all scratched, so my dog bit him in the ass, and i got rid of the cat at the animal shelter. btw i have a doxie and rotwiler, cat scratched doxie, so rotty bit cat =]

@marineman825 i got a ridgeback black lab at home (long story) but i couldnt take my puppy with me to where i was moving so my parents raised him. but my friend here got a cat. this cats alright seems to have a personality rather than be scared of everything doing its own thing. so i can beleive there is exceptions to cats but where as 'exceptions' for dogs is only when they are disobedient by being poorly raised.

Some dogs have different temperaments than others but they are all socialable. How you treat them and how they are socialized will depend on how friendly they are. I have 3 dachshunds and they all love people and other dogs (and torment my 2 cats. lol). I love how each dachshund has their own unique and comical demeanor. They are definitely a joy to have and there's never a dull moment with one around!

Many female Dachshunds do not have an agressive attitude towards strangers. My female one absolutely LOVES new people. Try a local breeder, not a shelter or a pet store.
