These are NCStar optics under a different name. They're bottom line, made as cheaply as possible, no quality control, made in China junk. The only place these optics belong to is on airsoft guns and maybe plinking rimfire rifles. But these do NOT belong on professionnal weapons on which the user's life depends on. This is a pathetic and shameful publicity stunt. No industrialized country army would buy these for their soldiers.

well made, and very hard, game. You can take control of any tank or other vehicle and drive them. The balistics where done very well in that game. you have to take into acount your weapon size (aka 88mm), the range (the farther away the less velocity the round has), and the slop of the armor you are hitting. Yo, I keep saying they should arm like a few troops with .30-06, I hear they are considering AR-30s and some new 6.8mm. What do you guys think of the application of a 1000yard fire arm for combat duty? I like shooting a m-16, it nice light, like a pellet gun, but shooting a .30-06 or 308 is authority and one round on target is as sever as 4 rounds of 5.52mm
i have personally always asked myself the same. why did nato choose the .223 when there are much better candidates ex 6.8 spc it may have slightly more recoil but nothing much more than the .223. i also think is should be considered to bring back the battle rifle and be given to a few of the soldiers in a unit for the added range and accuracy of the larger cartridge in personally i would never arm my men with the .223 it a varmin round.
ive heard from a few different people that they like that round because the damage that it does to the body hardly ever kills the target instantly (unless head shot;vital organ) so a medic has to go and take care of the wounded person and carry him and that takes two or three people out of the fight instead of just one if it were to kill him right there on the spot

They have a sense of pride and history that shows up in everything they do. However, if you take averages, the Brits are the best trained, most professional soldiers that I've worked with. I am actually still in the Army. I am currently at Walter Reed due to an injury sustained in A-stan. I was in Iraq in '04. I am a sniper in the Infantry. So yeah, I have been in for more than a day. They train here because we have the space for them, but I've trained in Britain too, so I guess it goes both ways. Do some research and you'll find that Brit pilots are considered the best, and their Navy, though smaller, is exceptional.
I have done the research. I have lived in 4 different countries. the US, Japan, Belgium and Germany. I have talked with many pilots from multiple countries because so many are stationed NATO bases. I know from what i've seen, heard, and researched, that we have the best military in all divisions than any other country. and where do i get most of my info? My Farther, who happens to be a Colonel. And he did not get there by being an idiot. he knows his stuff. so do i.

I work in the field, planning missions with, operating with, and debriefing with these people, and no one is more thorough or more professional than the Brits. the only real fair comparison is that of the D-Day landings, the Americans lost SO many more men than the British, the Americans gained little ground compared to the ground the British gained. And they were fresh soldiers that were impecably armed.

well made, and very hard, game. You can take control of any tank or other vehicle and drive them. The balistics where done very well in that game. you have to take into acount your weapon size (aka 88mm), the range (the farther away the less velocity the round has), and the slop of the armor you are hitting. i have personally always asked myself the same. why did nato choose the .223 when there are much better candidates ex 6.8 spc it may have slightly more recoil but nothing much more than the .223. i also think is should be considered to bring back the battle rifle and be given to a few of the soldiers in a unit for the added range and accuracy of the larger cartridge in personally i would never arm my men with the .223 it a varmin round.

ive heard from a few different people that they like that round because the damage that it does to the body hardly ever kills the target instantly (unless head shot;vital organ) so a medic has to go and take care of the wounded person and carry him and that takes two or three people out of the fight instead of just one if it were to kill him right there on the spot

I don't think you are getting what I said. I don't think I'm better, I think that the Brits are. I've worked with Marines and have great things to say about them. They have a sense of pride and history that shows up in everything they do. However, if you take averages, the Brits are the best trained, most professional soldiers that I've worked with. I am a sniper in the Army and have worked with lots of different countries armies, and that is my opinion.

Again, I am a born and bred poud American, but you make us look stupid. We have the most resources, that's what makes us so great. As individual soldiers, we don't hold a candle to the Brits. We have our professionals, but if you look at percentages, they make us look silly. Their pilots are better trained, their Navy is still in a class of it's own, and the troops are much more hardcore. Sorry.

no i don't. answer this, have you ever been in the military or grew up with someone in the military? doubt it. why do the brits send so many troops to be trained here? because we have better training. And Operation red flag. there are so many british pilots that go there to train with top US pilots. they don't even have a stealth plane yet. the have a jet painted with RAM. Their nave is a class of its own. below ours. thats why we have the leading number of ships and carriers in the world.

I am actually still in the Army. I am currently at Walter Reed due to an injury sustained in A-stan. I was in Iraq in '04. I am a sniper in the Infantry. So yeah, I have been in for more than a day. They train here because we have the space for them, but I've trained in Britain too, so I guess it goes both ways. Do some research and you'll find that Brit pilots are considered the best, and their Navy, though smaller, is exceptional.

I have done the research. I have lived in 4 different countries. the US, Japan, Belgium and Germany. I have talked with many pilots from multiple countries because so many are stationed NATO bases. I know from what i've seen, heard, and researched, that we have the best military in all divisions than any other country. and where do i get most of my info? My Farther, who happens to be a Colonel. And he did not get there by being an idiot. he knows his stuff. so do i.

So, you're an Army or Air Force brat. That pretty much says it all. I am not saying that we are bad, just that they are better on an individual level. I work in the field, planning missions with, operating with, and debriefing with these people, and no one is more thorough or more professional than the Brits. Sorry, but that is how I see it, not because of Daddy, but because I have been the one with the experiences. We're modeled on them, have taken their tactics, and still we aren't on par.

the only reason you think they are better is because you're comparing them to yourself. which you're a pussy enlisted in the army. Because you were not smart enough to make it into college. And i do have my own opinion. I don't live with "daddy" Im at college. Then I'm going to be an officer. All you are is a dumb PFC shining the boots of your superiors. so go out in the field and do what the army is best at, catching bullets. the army might suck, but the Marines, Navy, and Air Force don't.

the only real fair comparison is that of the D-Day landings, the Americans lost SO many more men than the British, the Americans gained little ground compared to the ground the British gained. And they were fresh soldiers that were impecably armed.
And it is common fact that British soldiers are better, I went on an army adventure course and the guys I met were insanely good at what they do!!! On the rifle range they were awsum.
If USA had the best soldiers then Bin Laden wudda Bin caught xD

Anywho there r loadsa American troops in Iraq, obviously not so many British in Iraq (also I don't think we care as much as u guys do about that silly old dude hiding in a hole sumwhere...not like he's got any nukes (or oil) in there with him, he's probably cramped as hell) xD

well yeah britain i would say is the best disciplined right now, but back in WW2 the USA and the UK teamed up and hit seperate beaches on northern Normandy. remember all the hotspots? carentan, point du hoc, caen, bayeux, etc. these were not minor steps. taking france under control was a team effort of course. but think of the USA in the pacific. the UK dominated the mediterranean sea, but the USA dominating the pacific helped win the european front GREATLY. allies vs axis. allies = TEAM
