Greece,Portugal, Romanian, Serbia and even India lost more soldiers in ww1 then Canada and that's just to name a few.
as for ww2 Canadian military deaths made up for only .4 of a percent of the deaths of the allied forces, less than china, Philippians, India, and Yugoslavia to name a few.

Well, first off, Canada doesn't have nukes, we never have. The US positioned some smaller nuclear warheads in Canada during the Cold War as an air defense, but never anything that could, say, obliterate a city. Second, if Russia had decided to duke it out with the US, we'd mostly be ok, excepting border cities. So no, we wouldn't be speaking Russian.

Well, first off, Canada doesn't have nukes, we never have. The US positioned some smaller nuclear warheads in Canada during the Cold War as an air defense, but never anything that could, say, obliterate a city. Second, if Russia had decided to duke it out with the US, we'd mostly be ok, excepting border cities. So no, we wouldn't be speaking Russian.

As for sacrifice, we actually do know what that feels like. After all, most of the conflicts we've been engaged in posed no threat to Canada directly; we were there because we wanted to help.
As for Libya, I suppose you could say it's right next to Italy, but it's nowhere near France...

I'm glad that the american miliary is doing extra to help promote freedom, but it's not your right to say what a country should do. Canadians have a peacekeeping force, you have a fighting force. Going into war doesn't always mean you're doing the right thing. Not to mention Canada sacrificed a whole lot more from 1939-1941 than you did.
