I agree. By turning the original, which is pretty much a death hymn with reggae roots, into a testosteroned punk anthem, you lose all sense of tragedy.
original is definately much better, the songs lost its feel.. that said, they covered wild rover and johnny i hardly knew ye brilliantly so one bad cover is ok, 'specially as its the clash, they deserve a good raping from time to time

@jcdcrclckc Why do they have to have lived their to have soul? The soul is their sound and the original is by The Clash. They're just covering a song that they thought sounded good and applied their own style. I am pretty sure that they were well aware of what happened in Brixton.
