  • Yes, you and a million people want to start an eBay "business" and need products. You better have a large amount of cash to send to an importer and keep in mind you are not guaranteed to get anything so dont spend all your investment capital on one purchase. Also, go to WWB website directly, do not click this guys link. Also keep in mind eBay is set up 100% for the buyer so be prepared to spend a lot of money trying to keep ppl from leaving negative FB or your account will get shut down quick!

  • can i use world wide brands in the uk or is it not worth it

  • @drunkglitch Worldwide Brands is very effect internationally, especially in the UK. There are a lot of suppliers that either ship internationally or are specifically located overseas. cheers...matt

  • @drunkglitch, If you need true suppliers then attend a trade show regarding the products you want to resell. I attend the CES, CTIA, CeBit, and CPAS almost every year to meet real wholesalers and not middlemen or joker-brokers.

  • @aimdirect oh nice is this the only way of finding them in the UK? but you know i don't really see the point in buying from UK wholesalers now when you can buy from manufacturers in china for a fraction of the price

  • @drunkglitch, I only deal in name brand products so a purchase directly from China is out of the question. You cannot purchase name brand products like Samsung cell phones or iPads directly from China. For non-branded and Chinese branded products you CAN buy directly from Chinese sources, which you will meet at the CES or the UK equivalent of the show.

  • @aimdirect oh right

  • MatthewBredel, I have one question for you... Does WWB offers affiliate marketing where I can just promote some products and get paid commissions? Or is it just a wholesale directory?

  • @dmana3172 Interesting question! In some regards, what you are referring to are "broker networks". These networks are a bit "dodgy" to say the least. With Worldwide Brands, there is none of this....that is one reason why they are a bit special and different: they only focus on companies that are legitimate wholesalers/dropshippers. Anything else is either a middle man, or broker network (and in these are much less legitimate). Great question! cheers...matt

  • @MatthewBredel I want to sell ipads, can WWB point me to the company that manufacters them?

  • @21215parkheights WWB only show lists of Authorized Wholesale Distributors in the U.S., it does not show the manufacturer's listing because they only work with Wholesalers.

  • I want to sell ipads, can WWB show me the company that manufacters them?

  • @21215parkheights NO because apple has strict rules and contracts, you must have a store front and purchase 1million in dollars in products

  • I really want to start up an ebay business, and i will be paying that $300 subscription fee within a few days time. The thing i'm concerned about is the fact i have zero business right now and I dont have much purchasing power, which I believe will end up leading to everyone saying that they are not interested in doing business. I'm still going to take a shot even if it is a 1/20 chance it'll lead anywhere.

  • @Crashandburn999 I started an eCommerce business about 3 years using WWB as my directory. Like you, I had no experience in the eCommerce world and had little purchasing power. Still, these dropshipping people talked to me. (in my case, it was garden "adornments"). The one things that really helped was the fact that I got a reseller's license (from my local tax office). It was free to get, but it gave me the "in" that I needed to have these companies work/talk to me. Good luck!!

  • Sadly, one just never knows WHO to trust these days...

There's seems to be a scammer lurking behind every door...

I've heard a lot about WWB, not bad things, but still one is so very hesitant...

    :-/

  • If they do not have a list of authorized dealers online (although most cases they do), you should send them a business letter asking for a list of authorized distributors. They will fax or email the contact information back to you.

  • You don't really need a solution like this to get good contacts. Here's some ways to find wholesale distributors. If you are looking for something unique you should visit a trade show's website and they will usually have the contact information for the vendors who attended their last show. If you are looking for name brand products, visit the company's website and they will have a printable list of "authorized dealers." Mixed in that list will be distributors, not just retail.

  • Also can I look specifically for dropshipping companys with worldwide brands

  • yeah it could be a useful tool...Yes it could be but im just not prepared right now to get into that.im actaully trying to find good supplyers.ive looked in wholesalers, manufacturers, closeouts, liquidations.and they all offer different negatives and positives.but the idea of getting the worldwide brands is a bit far off for me right now...i will deff research.into worldwide brands.. im not sure if i wanna deal with any outside the us dealers.Without brandslike WB is it smart to deal with them?

  • How much money are they paying you for commission from Worldwide Brands. Cause one thing stuck out that the real folks trying to help have said....Time and Research thats key to succeeding in the internet market or in general. You say dont waste your time...So im a bit sketchy...On what youve said

  • @kellerbustinout You are absolutely correct! Research & Test is actually a better description. But remember that WWB is a tool. It has a great market & product research tools built in & their directory is extensive, validated, and can save you tons of time trying to source products yourself. Again, it is a tool (like millions of others online). Can you do it without this tool? Sure, but it may cost you a lot of extra *time* & effort (& lead you potentially down the wrong path w/ bad vendors)

  • dont alot of these dropshippers charge fees for there services as well as adding on a monthly subscription fee for using there sites etc and or how can you make money with pay pal and ebay fees you would have to list like 80 to 100 items on ebay would'nt you matt

  • @erectionaffection First, WWB does not require a subscription fee and if you are working with a direct supplier/dropshipper, you shouldn't have to pay for a subscription. There may be a drop ship fee, though, for that service. And remember, this is about marketing, not just posting a product on eBay and making front end cash...it is the backend marketing where the money is made. Great questions! cheers...matt

  • It's better to work with a BIG wholesale dstributors in the U.S. because you would buy products from them alot cheaper than from smaller wholesale suppliers founded in WWB. However, it's hard to set up account with them because they usually works with larger retailers like Walmart, Sears, Target, BestBuy and Kmart. But it will be great rewarding if we can get them convinced to work with us.

  • is it legal to be in canada ...have things drop shipped from the states and sold to the states? ...or have things dropshipped from the states to canada??

  • has anyone done any business with WWB before ? Actually I'm a wholeseller in China considering post our products on their website and become a supplier

  • So WWB drop ship your product for you ?

  • @14624 WWB does not do the drop shipping. They provide you with contacts of reputable companies that do drop shipping. This directory is a bit different than others in that they verify their suppliers first and then provide you with the hooks and resources to make initial contact (in most cases, this initial contact can be made with a click of a button). Also, these are "true suppliers", not middlemen, which is tougher to find (but will provide you with better prices in the longrun).

  • @MatthewBredel I agree with you. However, WWB is not a scam. But, there are so many wholesale suppliers that are not generally big one in the united states. They are smaller ones, and that's okay. If I was you, I would do a research on Sony, RCA, ASUS, Dell etc.. and find a list of wholesale distributors in the United States and then apply for a reseller account application.

  • thanks for this video...really great!

  • @scorpiopatty33 That guy is a scammer. Don't fall for this shit

  • i hear that doba is great for beginners..how about wwb?

  • Like Doba, Worldwide Brands offers a lot of great education (called "The Whole$ale") aimed towards people just starting to sell stuff online. Doba and Worldwide Brands are still kind of apples and oranges of each other offering quite different services. cheers...matt

  • How old do you have to be to use WWB? I am 15 and I really want to get into this to help me through college and make a part time job. I am very patient and learn quickly, and would take all the right actions. Is it possible?

  • Hmmm...I am not exactly sure, but you would need to be able to get a resellers license through your local (state) tax office in most cases. Personally, I don't know if you need to be a certain age to this, but if you can, I don't see any problems with it. Remember you relationships are with the suppliers, not Worldwide Brands. I don't think there is any age restrictions for being a WWB member!

  • Ok Thanks! I'm going to look into it.

  • there's no minimum age to join WWB. However, if you were to start your own business, you may have trouble with attaining contracts, bank accounts, and other legal issues. you can talk to your parents and partner with them and have them help you with legal issues. I'm sixteen and already have my business running. it's great. better than flipping burgers right? :) good luck

  • so all i need is my sales tax i.d and DBA right??? i went and got those things at the department of revenue.

  • Thanks for your video. Appreciate your effort in making it so clear and simple. I'm going to buy their membership.

  • @J337soorma ,Hi ,are you a member of WWB ? how is everything ?

  • @JamesfengAM they are pretty good. I liked their tutorials, which are in real depth of how the whole online business works. I didn't start any because I go to school and work part time and I can't take the risk of giving up on my studies.

  • I wonder if I can do business with WWD from afar. I live in Athens, Greece and I guess it can't be done. Care to enlighten me please? Thanks, George

  • Can you get computer software and such on this WWB? I'm thinking of joining, but I don't want to be a dropshipper of crap nobody is interested in. Thanks

  • Well, I did a quick search on the term "software" and they listed:

    82 Dropshippers

    94 Light Bulk Wholesalers

    214 Instant Import Buys

That is just a quick search, but it seems like there is probably something there for ya...cheers...matt

  • Thanks for getting back to me.

  • I used world wide brand B4 also **Everyone should know, since these dropshippers are for real and "true" they will not work with you untill you get a (tax id and business certificate). People dont know that untill AFTER U PAY THE $ 299.99. For my state it was about $118.00for the business certificate, They needs it for a fax right off. Now if you join a drop shipping place that does not ask for that(then they are the middle man) and your losing some profit you could be making.

  • Yes, for most suppliers through WWB, you do need a tax id and every state (and country for that matter) has different rules and fees for this. When I got mine (in California), the only fee I had to pay was for the DBA (fictitious name), since I did not have one. Getting a Tax ID and a resellers license (though my county) was free. But you are right, if you are NOT asked for a resellers license, you are probably buying from a middleman (paying higher prices for the products!)

  • @MatthewBredel

Can you tell me the difference between the DBA and a LLC. Which one is better regarding the taxes issue?

  • @almagno74 Well, an LLC (or Limited Liability Company) is a business entity. A DBA (or Doing Business As, also known as a Fictitious Name) represents a company, corporation, or even an individual (i.e., it provides no legal protection). A DBA is usually managed by your county and is relatively cheap. An LLC is usually state sponsered, and while not that difficult to get, would could a little more with a bit of extra management (stating VERY simply, tho!)

  • wut u sayin is true, i use world wide brands too, but it looks like u reading something. lol

  • WWB dropshippers are complete crap. I was a member, you can't find s**t through them, unless you want to try and sell completely useless junk that no one wants. They must be paying you money to do this video. The only good thing about them was I did get a full refund.

  • I totally disagree. As both a customer of theirs and an affiliate, (which you imply and I do not hide...which I write about above), the products and sources are legit and plentiful (more than anything I have found online), their interface is very simple (for both search and it is categorized like eBay), & I know plenty of people are successfully sell quality products sourced from their directory. (And yes, if you just don't like it, they have a reputable return policy). cheers...matt

  • Are advertised suppliers wholesalers of real branded products or fake copies?

  • buyers please beware, the very fact that Mr. Bredel has a coupon code in his name that you can use on worldwidebrands should be a red flag, he is getting commission from the company to market the onesource product provided by worldwidebrands

  • Yes, I am an affiliate for Worldwide Brands (this has never been a secret). I have used their product, and reviewed it for a number of years now (since they were the Dropship Directory). One purpose for having TheWebReviewer is not only to provide in-depth reviews, but also try to obtain the best value on the best online business products (and working with this companies to provide discounts to my visitors).

  • @aznmx8 I don't see anything wrong with that. Why shouldn't he get paid? He's no different than any other salesman or saleswoman. WWB is on the level otherwise companies like the Better Business Bureau wouldn't have given them an A+ rating.

  • yeee, he is geting something for sure! he is doin marketing here! you really good! n i got the feeling you doing really good!, too.

  • Wow...How much does Worldwidebrands pay you? You are getting something for sure off it.

  • By the way, Dropship Focus is now free with the Ecommerce beating recession series.

  • WWB's website has free videos that give you a gist of what ecommerce is about before you sign up. Take a look at their video "Ecommerce: recession proof market" and watch the webinar by Forrester research showing consumer trends today and in the next five years. Excellent free material. I've seen no other wholesale directory do that.

  • Great information. i'm thinking of doing an online business and you are so right this is a great way to go for newbies.

thank you so much for the info.

  • just curious..did you find out if wwb i friendly for beginners?

  • This was a huge help!!!!!!!

  • Hey how are the Product's prices?

  • The prices of the products depend on the dropship suppliers that are in their database. Since these suppliers are the true root suppliers, they should be the best prices that these products can be purchased for resale purposes (most of these suppliers even require that you have a resellers license...if they don't, that is a big red flag that the supplier is acting as a middleman.)

  • are the product on wwb priced well?

  • Worldwide Brands in NOT dropshipper...they are a service that identifies TRUE droppershippers. Because of this, you will usually be able to find the suppliers with the best prices (i.e., there is no middleman involved).

  • Cool thanks ive been tossing up whether or not to sign up with wwb, do u have to have a resellers license to deal with these companies provided from wwb

  • Yes, I do support Worldwide Brands, but to comment on what NightTrader says...of course you can do that, the problem is that many suppliers and distributors right now will not work with online marketers. Plus, you have no assurance from these suppliers on how legitimate they are. (This holds especially true for overseas suppliers and distributors). With a program like WWB, you are paying more than just a list, you are paying for access to suppliers that will support you online (and are legit)

  • Folks..

Its SO EASY to find Legit Wholesalers and Dropshippers all over the world.

Go down to your Local Chamber Of Commerce and Request that they do a SEARCH for Wholesalers and Dropshippers throughout the USA.

They can even help you contact Chamber Of Commerce Branches in other countries: Mexico, Japan, China.

Why else do you think The Chamber Of Commerce Exsists.. Go down and talk to them..

Geeshh Its not Rocket Science or as Hard as some make it out to be...

  • thank you

  • Thank You sooooo much Night Trader!

It's silly to trust someone's reviews who has got some sort of interest in the company as in the case of Mr Bredel!!!

  • Are you affiliated with WWB lol?

Anyhow, about the Google searching your right.
